All the Transformer movies suck anyway
Such a dramatic letdown! So promising, hope for a sequel. - Husker62
I rank this one as more disappointing than Batman & Robin because after this one, you knew the fourth iteration was going to be a stinker. I had hoped for much more from a cast that included Val Kilmer, Tommy Lee Jones, Jim Carrey and Nicole Kidman.
The movie is good, but doesn't live up to the AWESOME title, which sounds like an eternity of Batman which is great, you know?
I wouldn't say it's classic like the Tim burton one but at least it's better than batman and robin

Rumours says that Stanley Kubrick was very dissapointed about the cast Kidman / Cruise who were a couple at that time. He said that this was a big mistake and that he would never ever cast a real couple again for acting. The script was also supposed to be a crude comment about the decadence lifestyle of those who are regarded as respected people by the common outsider, but who are corrupted by their power. Because he struggled with his health and therefore time he was never be able to made the film he wanted. All that made a very disappointing film, but nevertheless a succes for the people who were just interested in the orgy / sex scenes and who don't care about comments of a decadent society. And that's what Stanley Kubrick didn't aim or strive for.
It is still an amazing movie but I'm so deceived by it... Because we will never know what Kubrick has in mind for editing it! He was unhappy by this version before he died? Why? What would have been cut, changed and improved? Scorcese had written on this movie: This cannot be called a Kubrick movie because the final editing is what makes the entire tone of the film. A director must not die before completing it
I can't believe it that this is the last Kubrick's movie..So sad..
The book was amazing. The movie... Terrible. It was an entirely different story, the acting was terrible, and the characters didn't look anything like in the books. You'd be better off just reading the book and not seeing the movie.
Did the filmmakers even read the book before they made this movie? - alexcousins
Some of the fights are choreographed really poorly if you look close enough
One of my least favorite movies - Username123V1 Comment
When I heard they were making a realistic interpretation of the stories of King Arthur, I was hoping for another Troy. Instead I got a dull, wannabe buddy flick with completely non-endearing characters and a weak storyline.
Not exciting or engaging at all. Didn't really like any of the characters. I was shocked when the movie ended, it didn't seem like there was a complete story or climax or anything! And then it was over, what a disappointment.
The scene on the frozen lake was the only good part of the movie. Oh, and I kinda liked Keira Knightley's war bikini. But as a "history" movie, and as a movie in general, it overall sucks. - alinaschneider
This movie was just way too quick. - connorchaosV1 Comment

I completely agree. I don't think critics should always be listened to. - LarkwingFlight
What a letdown after reading the book! The new series kicks its ass by a mile.
All of these movies are terrible... Not just the animated one. Put this series at the top of the list! - phigginskcV1 Comment
Not the best film ever made about Pearl Harbor but Kate Beckinsale in it is worth to watch.
Is this a true story? Must have been a bad one. - aeromaxx777
I excitedly rented this film thinking I was getting an engrossing film on the famous monkey trial. What I got was a cartoon.
I don't hate this movie but it's not a good movie and I don't understand why it is worshiped as one of the greats of all time. Before I saw this movie I had heard some HAL quotes and seen a clip of the monkey oracle scene and feel like that's all I needed to see not endless hours of boredom
Lets see, 4 hours of a single panoramic shot of a space ship that looks like a gum-ball floating endlessly across a screen, then 3 minutes of foreshadowed, boring, plot. The only way anybody could ever have liked this movie is if they had just taken about 10 pounds of LSD, then eaten a pound of crack. - QuarantineGames
An extremely overrated and disappointing movie
Could NOT understand the plot! - Zordon2010
Decent flick but no way should it have won best picture against the likes of Pulp Fiction or The Shawshank Redemption. Tom Hanks given his 2nd consecutive oscar is a joke considering that all he did was act slow. Gary Sinise stole the film.
WHAT THE? This is one of the best Movies I have ever seen! Take it off the list!
Hype... hype... hype... then nothing but Tom Hanks pretending to be slow? Awful... just horrendous.
Yea I agree it shouldn't have beat shawshank and pulp fictionV2 Comments
Let's see here... Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill and Jackie Brown... Which one is not like the others.
