Most Underrated Mario and Sonic Characters
As long as no one pairs her up with Tails nor Fox McCloud, then Cream can be 1 on this list. Fox likes Krystal, Tails likes Zooey from Sonic Boom. I'm a huge fan of Fox and Tails, but Cream doesn't deserve any of them.

In Sonic 3 he is so fast, that you literally see see his Afterimage/Mirage, he can fly through the air and when he double jumps, everything enemy in the screen dies.What else do you want?

Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows great compassion for his fellow peers, typically for characters Daisy and Wario. Waluigi is also described as lonely, rejected, sad, or depressed due to his relationship with the Super Smash Bros. franchise, and people outside of Nintendo continually rejecting him. Miles "Tails" Prower is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series, and the title character's best friend and sidekick. Maybe not 100% underrated but still overshadowed by the likes of Shadow the Hedgehog in recent years when Tails has been around since the classic Sonic era alongside Knuckles, Amy, Metal Sonic, Eggman and of course, Sonic himself. Tails is also a great sidekick and deserves more positive reception than negative.
He deserves much better than Modern Amy Rose.

Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Franchise created by Nintendo. She first appeared in the 2007 Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010. Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games and many spinoffs. She has appeared as a playable character in Super Mario 3D World for the Nintendo Wii U in 2013 and is a playable character in the Mario Kart series and Mario Party series. She also has come into Super Smash Bros. for Wii U/3DS as a part of the large character roster. I like Rosalina as a character, but I think that she's just a tad overrated.

So underrated yet he is still likeable. I mean, if you can like Blaze, so why not Big? He's a purple cat in the Sonic franchise, too.
Wario is a character in Nintendo's Mario series who was originally designed as an antagonist to Mario. His motives are driven by greed and he will take the side of whoever will give him the most pay. Although he may seem like just a mean man with no heart, he does have a very tragic past.

She is usually the character who needs saved in most Mario Games, but also has appeared as a playable character in the Main-Series Mario Games, including Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Run, and even starred in her own game, Super Princess Peach for the Nintendo DS. She has appeared in many spinoff series, too, including Mario and Sonic Olympic Games, the Mario Kart series, the Mario Party series, Mario Sports Games, the Super Smash Bros. Series, and many more. Vector the Crocodile is a fictional anthropomorphic crocodile from the Sonic the Hedgehog series who debuted in Knuckles' Chaotix in 1995, and later returned in Sonic Heroes as head detective of the Chaotix Detective Agency. With a great love for music and money (the latter which he is always short on), Vector is a clever detective who will always help those in need for free. He was one of the first characters created for the Sonic franchise, supposed to appear as part of Sonic's band in the original Sonic the Hedgehog game in 1991. Espio The Chameleon is a Sonic character first appearing in the 1995 Sega 32X title, Knuckles' Chaotix alongside Charmy Bee and Vector the Crocodile. Espio's appearance in Knuckles' Chaotix depicts him as a character with a hot temper which causes Charmy to remind him about his manners. In Sonic Heroes, his personality takes a dramatic change becoming a ninja and being the cool, calm and collected one of Team Chaotix. Espio is the speedy member of Team Chaotix and can turn invisible which makes him a huge asset to his teammates: Charmy Bee and Vector the Crocodile. Needs to go with vector
