The Top TenXW

1Green Grass and High Tides - Outlaws

It's definitely. At least the intro and solos are so awesome. And the singing style is very good - zxm

2(Don't Fear) the Reaper - Blue Öyster Cult

This is a most grotesque abomination for which Blue Ouster Cult should be forever shunned. It is a romanticization, a glorification of suicide. Even the screeching, shrieking, chaotic guitar solo sounds as though it was birthed in the bowels of Hell. It is not "art." It is mind-warping garbage.

3Peace of Mind - Boston

So glad this is on the list. Amazing song!

4Stone Cold Crazy - Queen
5Pictures of Home - Deep Purple

Amazing song with 5 solos on different instruments. Criminally underrated. - Metal_Treasure

6Achilles Last Stand - Led Zeppelin
7Sympathy - Uriah Heep
8Stargazer - Rainbow

This song isn't totally rock but it's between heavy metal and hard rock.Plus it's underrated. That's why I added it - zxm

9Speed King - Deep Purple
10Halo of Flies - Alice Cooper

The Contenders

11Fool in the Rain - Led Zeppelin
12Sultans of Swing - Dire Straits

A haunting fusion of country/western, jazz and rock, with licks having a subtle, Eastern European jazz flavor, a la Django Reinhardt.

13Supper's Ready - GenesisV1 Comment
