Most Underrated Songs of 2014

The Top Ten
1 The Rains of Castamere - Jackie Evancho

Haunting and beautiful song. Jackie hit it out of the park but then she always does.

2 Seeya - Deadmau5

Beautiful, catchy, addictive, uplifting; essentially it's like old-school dubstep which is unlike the overrated mainstream noise that everyone either loves or hates. I can safely say that this is one of the best EDM songs for some time. I'm confident that "while (1<2)" will dwarf "> >album title goes here< <".

3 Save Me - Royksopp

This entire album is underrated. Royksopp really have a talent for everything.

4 I Had This Thing - Royksopp
5 Shake It Off - Taylor Swift
6 Running to the Sea - Royksopp
7 U - Gareth Emery

This track is really amazing. Trance song of the year, perhaps.

8 Hallelujah - Peter Hollens

Acapella YouTube video of Peter Hollens and Jackie Evancho's duet on this number is incredible.

9 Phantoms Can't Hang - Deadmau5
10 Hello Kitty - Avril Lavigne
The Contenders
11 Death Star - Moby
12 Empire - Shakira

Shakira should make more slow songs. Her voice is interesting

13 La Vie En Rose - Jumaane Smith

Jumaane often accompanied golden-voiced singer Jackie Evancho and on this song she returns the favor by delivering French lyrics. Nice work by this musical duo.

14 Young Blood - Sophie Ellis-Bextor

Sounds different compared to her previous disco/dance music...

15 Break Free - Ariana Grande
16 Ping Pong - Armin van Buuren
17 Vida - Ricky Martin

Just cool... But still underrated

18 The Only Thing - Moby

I love this song. What gets me is how it sounds so different from most of Moby's work, and is equally surreal.

19 Same Girl - Jennifer Lopez

It must be her best song from A.K.A. album. Jenny should do more songs like this. Urban J. Lo is the best!

20 Goodbye Just Go - Belinda Carlisle

Amazing woman! Love her music

21 Problem - Ariana Grande
22 Whatever We Want - Havana Brown
23 Bang Bang - Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj
24 Goddess - Iggy Azalea
25 Aisha - Gaia
