Top 10 Upcoming Live Action Disney Remakes as of 2016

If you don't know who Rose Red is, she is Snow White's sister. She didn't appear in the original animated film but she was in the Grimm's fairytales. In this movie, Snow White will eat a poisonous apple and her sister, Rose Red, will be the hero and go on a quest to break the spell and will get help from the dwarves. Sounds like something I'd be interested in watching.

I think it sounds really good and it's similar to maleficent because though it's a remake of the original 1937 film,it's telling a new version of the story with someone else as the main character.

I've always wanted them to do a live action Mulan remake. So I was very happy when Disney confirmed it. It's unknown who will play the part of Mulan but people have started a petition last year to get Disney to actually cast a Chinese girl instead of a Caucasian girl. I definitely think a live action Mulan movie would be very awesome! I'm very curious to see what Mushu will look like. I'm sure this movie will have great fighting choreography and some great effects.

I would absolutely love to see Mulan. I loved the animated version as a child and still do as a adult. I would go see this movie.

I really hope that they don't whitewash Mulan. Other than that, I'm excited for this one!

Yo, this movie is gonna be DOPE! I wonder how they're gonna portray Mushu, though...

Disney recently released the teaser trailer for the live action Beauty and the Beast movie. So far it looks very nice! Although, the castle kind of reminds me of Hogwarts which makes sense since Emma Watson is in this movie. Oh yeah, Emma will apparently be speaking in her regular accent rather than an American accent like the original Belle. In the teaser trailer, all we saw was the outside and inside of the castle, a portrait being scratched by the beast, and Belle looking at the red rose. We also hear the voices of Lumiere and Cogsworth. Lumiere's voice sounds awful by the way. The trailer didn't show much but that's actually a good thing. It just has us wanting more and we get very excited about the movie. The scenery looks nice, the piano music gave me chills, and I absolutely look forward to seeing this movie when it comes out next year!

I came to laugh when you think it looks like Hogwarts. It truly is.

Who doesn't love the genie from Aladdin? I'm kind of on the fence about this movie since I doubt anyone can replace Robin Williams as the genie. However, Disney has surprised us many times before so maybe they will find someone just as funny. This movie will be the origin story of the genie and it will show us how he got trapped in the lamp. I have been wanting a movie about the genie for a long time so I'm glad that we are finally getting one.

I liked the sound of it when I first hear about it and I was disappointed when I thought it was cancelled in November last year but since it's been included Disney live action remakes lists as upcoming I think it's safe to assume that it still could be coming.

Cruella De Vil is the main villain from 101 Dalmatians. After watching the movie, I was thinking to myself, "She needs her own movie." My wish came true. In 1996, we got a live action 101 Dalmatians movie but it sucked. So I'm hoping the Cruella movie will be better. It was stated that Cruella will be played by Emma Stone. Honestly, I'm happy about that. I can actually see that working out.

I quite like the sound of this because it's similar to maleficent because it's doing a film with the villain point of view.

This year, Disney released a live action Jungle Book movie and as we all know IT WAS AWESOME! In fact, it was so good that Disney has already announced a sequel! I am so excited! I hope it won't be as bad as the animated Jungle Book sequel.

So we had the original Disney animated Peter Pan film, then there was Hook, then the 2003 Peter Pan film, then the very awful Pan movie that came out last year. So now, Disney is making their own live action Peter Pan film. Finally. Knowing Disney, this movie will probably be superior to the previous live action Peter Pan films. Definitely better than Pan because that movie sucked! I certainly hope this one doesn't suck.

They should make him a villain like Once Upon a Time.

It was announced that Disney is making a movie about the prince from Cinderella. Prince Charming will go from being a side character to a main character. I don't know if it will be the same prince from the 2015 live action Cinderella movie, but I certainly hope it is. He was honestly the most enjoyable thing about the movie. It's unknown when the Prince Charming movie is coming out but I'm kind of excited for it.

I would love for Disney to make a remake live action movie of this film. I adored the animated version of The Little Mermaid. The Little Mermaid captivated everyone attention it is such a good movie and Ariel rules all.

Are they actually doing this? If so, I really want to see it!
