Video Game Characters Who Belong In a Hall of Fame

If they were ever to have a Hall of Fame Video game characters these are the characters who deserve to be in it.
The Top Ten
1 Mario (Mario Series) Mario, originally named Jumpman, is the main character of the Super Mario Bros. franchise, created by the creative director and video game designer at Nintendo of Japan, Shigeru Miyamoto. Mario has appeared in almost every Mario game, including games in spin-off series as a playable character, with few exceptions including New Super Luigi U, Luigi's Mansion games, Yoshi's Island games, and similar counterparts. He is the most iconic character in video game history and is Nintendo's unofficial mascot. His franchise has grown to be the most successful video game franchise of all time.

If anyone deserves to be in the Video Game Hall of fame it should be Mario he single handily pulled the entire video game industry off life support following the video game crash of 1983.

Mario made video games popular. Mario saved the video game industry. Not even the legend of Zelda could do that.

Mario will always be my favorite video game character. Without him the video game industry would be dead.

Not only does Mario deserve to be in the Hall of Fame he deserves his own wing.

2 Nina Williams (Tekken) Nina Williams is a fictional character from Namco's Tekken fighting game series. A cold-blooded Irish professional assassin, Nina made her first appearance in Tekken, the original game in the series She is one of four playable characters to appear in all main installments in the series and the only female with that record (with the noticeable exception of the original version of Tekken 7). She also starred in her own spin-off game, Death by Degrees. ...read more.

She is always credited as one if not the hottest female videogame character. Death by Degrees was not a really good game, however, to get her own game is a great performance for a fighting game character, how did she manage to stand out Tekken roster?

3 Link (The Legend of Zelda Series) Link refers to several different incarnations of the same protagonist of Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda series.

Why is Link always 2nd to Mario? Link is a much better hero. Mario IS A SOCIOPATH, proven by GAME THEORY. Look it up.

He's saved Hyrule Time after time and defeated the evil Ganon and all without ever saying a word.

Come on, Link is the symbol of one of the most timeless videogame series ever

Somebody is a much better hero then Mario, but definitely not link,it's sonic

4 Sonic (Sonic Series) Sonic the Hedgehog, trademarked Sonic The Hedgehog, is the title character and protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by SEGA, as well as numerous spin-off comics, five animated shows, and an animated OVA.

You may have low points, old friend (looking at you Secret of the Rings and Genesis port to GBA), but you will always be one of my favorites.

He may have a no good fanbase but him and his friends are kind

Love him and his series. Same with Mario

Screw the haters Sonic is awesome!

9 Master Chief (Halo) Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, more commonly known as the Master Chief, is a SPARTAN-II commando of the UNSC Naval Special Warfare Command. He is the protagonist and main character in both the Halo trilogy and Reclaimer Saga.

He saved the human race from total destruction from the Covenant! And why is Cheif only at 9? All Mario did was save some princess who shouldn't be saved at all.

Quite mad that Master Chief isn't higher up. He saved the human race 4 times and what does he get? Being placed at number 8...

Revolutionized first-person shooters - without Halo, there Call of Duty would just have guns. Plus he's a boss

12 Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic Series) Shadow the Hedgehog is a character who appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series released by Sega. He is an artificially created black and red hedgehog whose hover shoes propel him at extreme speeds that rival those of Sonic.

Amazing and still epic even though the (there's good Shadow fans and bad Shadow fans) bad fans have been ruining him ever since his debut in SA2. He's just 2 swag. Still going strong after a while of being paired with stupid oc's.

13 Mega Man (Mega Man Series) Mega Man, known as Rockman in Japan, is the title character and the protagonist of the Mega Man series by Capcom.

Super fighting robot he's mega man

He first appeared in the 1985 popular videogame, Super Mario Bros., in which he was responsible for kidnapping Princess Toadstool (more commonly known as Princess Peach), which was released in Arcades and on the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Videogame System.

He's the number one villain in all of video game history he should be in the video game hall of fame.

15 Sans (Undertale) Sans or Sans the Skeleton is a character in the 2015 RPG Undertale created by Toby Fox.
