You spend the entire game helping this guy fix his space ship and at the very end he turns against you. He then has the audacity to use the ship YOU spent many painstaking hours repairing for him against you. I spent a ton of my time gathering the 120 energy spheres scattered throughout the two worlds in this game, constantly redoing levels to get them all, and then this happens. Killing him at the end is WAY more satisfying than one of those "1000 degree knife videos" you see on YouTube at this point in time.
You didn't have to help repair his ship, but you did. You didn't have to defeat the 4 headed Landia for him, but you DID. After he takes the crown of infinite power, which he tricked you into getting for him, instead of giving you some of that unlimited power, or even thanking you, he sets off to take over the world, starting with your home planet.
