I actually really love this song. Hell, sometimes while I listen to this, I always think it might be my favorite song from this album, even over Master Of Puppets itself.

Easily their worst song from the 80's. In fact, one of their weakest tracks from all their studio albums.

Only reason is because they were forced to have a radio friendly song in the record.

Without a doubt one of their worst songs.

But. This song is good.

They never had a bad 80's song.

12 Master of Puppets

Very overrated. May be the most overrated "thrash" song. When I first heard it, it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. Later I started to like it. I liked it for a while, and then I got tired of it really fast. People think of it as thrash metal. I just don't get it. It sounds more progressive than thrash. Enter Sandman is the most popular choice for Metallica's most overrated songs. When people think of early, good old thrash days of Metallica before the self-titled album, the first song that pops into people's heads... is unfortunately Master of Puppets. And because of that, it's now one of my least favorites. I don't understand how you "metalheads" would choose Master of Puppets over Ride the Lightning.

This is very overrated and without a doubt the worst song from AJFA since I have heard it 1,946,994,532 times. When someone thinks Metallica, they usually think One, MOP, or Sandman. The rest of Metallica's 80's and 90'a discography are better in my opinion.
