Worst Songs of the 60s

60s experts, legitimately post what you think are the worst songs of the 60s. Don't be nostalgic and say none, because I won't take that as an answer. The 60s certainly had some bad songs.
The Top Ten
1 Yummy, Yummy, Yummy - Ohio Express

For the one who says that old music is meaningful, you may no listened to this. They lyrics are terrible and it doesn't have the difference with Chris Brown songs or Shape of You.

This should be #1. The fact that "She Loves You" and "Love Me Do" are both in the top 5 and that this isn't even in the top 10 makes it impossible for me to take this list seriously.

This is "Baby" in the 60s.

2 I Want My Baby Back - Jimmy Cross

I'm not even sure Jimmy Cross was thinking properly when he wrote this crap. He sounds annoying, too.

3 Love Me Warm and Tender - Paul Anka

Don't get me wrong, I like Paul Anka's music a lot, but this song is horrible.

4 Barbara Ann - The Beach Boys

Not good at all, why did this get popular

BAD!

Overrates

Bad

5 Roses Are Red (My Love) - Bobby Vinton
6 Moonflight - Vik Venus
7 Chapel of Love - The Dixie Cups

Most of the song is the chorus, which is horrible. This doesn't sound like something a serious label would release. Like most love songs of the 60s, the lyrics are generic, but the constantly repeating chorus was the worst part of this song.

8 She Loves You - The Beatles

While I do like The Beatles, this is easily their worst song. This song can only be described as annoying. The verses are terribly written, the lyrics are incredibly generic(this is a love song, after all), the chorus is one of the worst things I have ever heard.

This one beatle song is better than all the rap songs ever recorded put together.

How is this and love me do in the top three!

9 It Hurts to Be In Love - Gene Pitney

This is good, why is it number 1?

10 Angel of the Morning - Merrilee Rush
The Contenders
11 A World Without Love - Peter & Gordon

I mus admit, I never liked Peter Asher's music that much!

12 Green Door - The Jerms
13 Sugar, Sugar - The Archies

It's sad. There was so much great music coming out in 1969. The Beatles, The Stones, Led Zeppelin, and Creedence Clearwater Revival were putting out great albums, and groups like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple were on the horizon. So why would all those people listen to the Archies? Probably because it got shoved down their throats more than anything.

Unless someone has been a fan of The Archies since the 60s or just a fan of The Archies maybe they like it but I dunno.

14 Dream a Little Dream of Me - Mama Cass Elliot
15 Wigwam - Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan's greatest lyrics ever- or not.

16 Philosophy of the World - The Shaggs
17 Here Comes the Sun - The Beatles
18 1, 2, 3 Red Light - The 1910 Fruitgum Company
19 Monday, Monday - The Mamas & The Papas
20 Love Me Do - The Beatles
21 Surfin' Bird - The Trashmen

You must be confusing this song with "Bird's The Word" by The Rivingtons, that was a very bad song, but "Surfin' Bird" by The Trashmen was excellent.

I cannot believe that something this irritating was actually released by a label.

Now I am really confused, was that other song, "Papa Oom Mow Mow" by the Rivingtons or the Trashmen?

22 In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida - Iron Butterfly

The spoof in the Simpsons was funny.

23 Wild Thing - Troggs
24 Revolution 9 - The Beatles

I am a Beatles fan and I absolutely hate this song. I don't understand why people would call it "deep". It also fueled the "Paul is dead" conspiracy

Not the worst song The Beatles have made, but definitely their longest and least interesting one.

25 Dominique - The Singing Nun
