Worst College Football Teams in a BCS Conference

This list covers those in a BCS conference. Temple is NOT in a BCS conference.
The Top Ten
1 Duke Duke University is a private research university located in Durham, North Carolina, United States. Founded by Methodists and Quakers in the present-day town of Trinity in 1838, the school moved to Durham in 1892. In 1924, tobacco and electric power industrialist James Buchanan Duke established the Duke Endowment, at which time the institution changed its name to honor his deceased father, Washington Duke.
2 Iowa State Representing Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, the Cyclones compete in the Big 12 Conference. Known for their wrestling and basketball programs, they also have a presence in football. Their team colors are cardinal and gold.

uhh how long have they been terrible?

3 Kansas

Yes I'm a Mizzou fan, that aside though, except for one BCS season, Kansas has been an easy win on everyone's schedule

Like Duke Basketball is the only sport you’re good at, but if you can barely beat Indiana State in football, than something is wrong with you!

How isn't this 1?

4 Syracuse Located in Syracuse, New York, this program is a member of the ACC. Notable for their men's basketball and lacrosse teams, they have numerous championships under their belt. Orange is the primary team color.
5 Indiana Hailing from Muncie, Indiana, the Ball State Cardinals are the athletic teams of Ball State University. They compete in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and offer a variety of sports, including men's basketball and women's volleyball. The team's colors are cardinal and white, and their mascot is named Charlie Cardinal.

They don't even have a 1,000 victories in their franchise yet that have about 950

6 Washington State
7 Vanderbilt Representing the University of Arizona, the Arizona Wildcats are based in Tucson, Arizona. They participate in the Pac-12 Conference and have excelled in multiple sports, including basketball and softball. The team's colors are cardinal red and navy blue, and their mascot is Wilbur the Wildcat.

So bad everyone forgot them.

Ignore my other comment.

8 Ohio State

Why is this team here this team is great! The only reason you hate them is because you either hate the Jim Tressel incident from 2010 or you totaly adore Michigan. Guess what guys, after getting crushed by Florida in the 2011 gator bowl, they wouldn't lose again until the 2013 big ten championship to Michigan state! Get this off the list right now!

I think this was a list for the least prestigious, not most hated. Otherwise, this would definitely be one of my least favorites.

Are you kidding me? Better rank Alabama and Oregon above OSU on this list, cause the Buckeyes DESTROYED both in the Championship playoffs.

terrible I hope we don't see another embarrassing national championship game next year

9 Baylor

TCU, should have been in the big 12, and I think would have been if it had not been for Gov. Ann Richards, a grad. of Baylor

10 Stanford The athletic teams for Stanford University, the Cardinal compete in the NCAA Division I as a member of the Pac-12 Conference. The school is known for strong programs in various sports, including swimming and tennis, and has won numerous Directors' Cups for overall athletic performance. Cardinal red is the main color.
The Contenders
11 Wisconsin
12 Arizona
13 Michigan State Michigan State University is a public research university in East Lansing, Michigan, United States. It is widely known for its men's basketball program, which has won two national championships.

Really? One of the worst in a BCS conference. Tell that to Baylor, who the Spartans came back from 20 points down to beat in the last bowl game.

So bad they only beat 2 teams in 2016. Furman (FCS) and Rutgers (Big ten). DIAGNOSIS: They Suck.

14 Northwestern
15 Alabama

How is Alabama the worst team in a bcs conference when they everybody's ass they play

Alabama sucks so much

16 Wake Forest Representing Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, they compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). They have had strong performances in sports like golf and basketball. Their colors are old gold and black.
17 Rutgers
18 Michigan The Michigan Wolverines comprise 27 varsity sports teams at the University of Michigan. These teams compete in the NCAA's Division I and in the Big Ten Conference in all sports except women's water polo, which competes in the NCAA inter-divisional Collegiate Water Polo Association.

Michigan sucks

19 Purdue
20 Maryland
21 Nebraska
22 Kentucky Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the Vanderbilt Commodores are the athletic teams of Vanderbilt University. They compete in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and are known for their strong baseball and women's tennis programs. The team's mascot is named Mr. Commodore, and their colors are black and gold.
23 Texas
24 Miami Hurricanes The Miami Hurricanes are the varsity sports teams of the University of Miami, located in the Coral Gables suburb of Miami, Florida.

They caused pretty much every single bad hurricane we've had in the atlantic ocean because of their nickname.

25 Texas Tech
