But for Shawn, it was only the beginning, In his solo early months, he normally beat a wrestler and then told to the world that Shawn Michaels has left the building. His first big win came at WrestleMania VIII where he pinned former 2-time Intercontinental champion Tito Santana. He was also involved in the first WWE Ladder match with the Intercontinental Champion Bret Hart. Then on Saturday Night's Main Event (which Aired on FOX on November 14), he beat The British Bulldog to become the Intercontinental Champion.
