Best Albums of 2015
On this project Kendrick comes up with a masterpiece which is both so obviously hip hop and a completely new sound at the same time. So many things could have gone wrong with this album considering how much experimentation there was but they didn't. This is by far the best album of 2015 and most lists I have seen agree and in my opinion this is easily top 5 rap albums of all time as well. Amazing work of art.
This is perfect in every way. From the grooves of King Kunta & These Walls to the more deeper tracks like The Blacker The Berry & u to that poem thing he made which he revealed more & more of every couple or so songs until it's all revealed in Mortal Man, it is truly a modern classic.
Second favourite album of the year, behind Know-It-All. Features a diverse range of old-school rap and meanings, his best vocal performances, and underrated hits like u.
I'm glad to see people here recognise thisto be the best album since the grammys were too racist to. I lost all respect for the grammys when Taylor Swift won album of the year over Kendrick Lamar
Amazing album full of variety, catchy hooks and beautiful music. best songs: realiti, kill v maim, venus fly and art angels.
One of the most evocative albums of 2015, Carrie & Lowell is absolutely astounding. Echoed by grief, sorrow, and despair, Stevens' latest album is a must-listen to anyone who enjoys electronica, or soul music, expressed through cynical moments.
9/10 - Superb
Without doubt it's the best album of 2015
One of the best albums of all time.
Their worst album, but that is still really good for Twenty One Pilot's standards. Easily my favorite album of 2015.
-Someone who hasn't had the time to listen to "To Pimp a Butterfly" yet
This album is not just great music but a story of Tyler battling his insecurities and doubts.
Every song on here blows my mind. They are going to be awesome in concert.
Good album and it talks about Tyler battling his insecurities.I prefer Vessel and Regional At Best though.-The DarkBoi-X
This album is really good! Although Slayer is my favourite metal band, I do prefer this album over Repentless. Iron Maiden have made another great album!
I am very happy with the top five of this list! (Currently consists of Book of Souls, Hand. Cannot. Erase, Beyond the Red Mirror, Meliora, and In Times).
Glad to see it number 1. Finally a list that's not flooded with mainstream garbage.
I love The Great Unknown
Emotion is such an amazing album! "Your Type" is one of the best songs of all time, in my opinion.
This deserves to be so much higher! Such an amazing album from an amazing singer!
If this is 4, then Badlands should be 1. Actually, Badlands should be 1 anyways.
Definitely the best album honestly of the century!
How is this outside the top 10. do y'all really listened to 2015 albums?
Great album should be in top 10
Probably one of the best of 2015
This is my favorite for sure. The atmosphere and the overall organic sound work splendedly.
Honestly really underrated. I don’t care (pun not intended) how much you hate the singles. My 2 cents on them is that Immortals is the weakest song in the album but not necessarily bad, Centuries is good and has an amazing headbang opportunity but is otherwise not the greatest and Uma Thurman is fun with nonsensical lyrics. But, wow, are songs like Novocaine, Irresistible, Jet Pack Blues and even the title track (which is kinda growing on me the more I listen to it) all really good in their own ways.
Thanks for readng my pointless review thing of a 3 year old album from a band that people say hasn’t been good since 2009 (obviously not true in my opinion).
Jet pack blues is awesome!
Best album of 2015
Wow. I'm highly impressed. His lyrical prowess and wide range of musical tastes only makes this album even better. And while I think "To Pimp a Butterfly" by Kendrick Lamar might actually be the best of 2015, I just voted for this anyways! The one-two knockout punch of "Real Life" and "Losers" start this album off on a very melancholy, Eeyore-ish vibe, while the next song, "Tell Your Friends", only adds to the drama, telling lustful tales of sex, drugs, and whatever comes into his mentally disturbed mind (this album is essentially the alt-R&B modern version of Guns N' Roses' "Appetite for Destruction", of which he most certainly has). After that comes "Often", "The Hills", and "Acquainted", of which all are primarily focused on sex (however, "The Hills" references drug abuse and rehab stints). After that comes what is most likely The Weeknd's biggest hit thus far, "Can't Feel My Face", ...more
Though this is The Weeknd's weakest it's still brilliantly made. Wow The Weeknd is phenomenal. 8/10 for this album.
Favorite songs: The Hills, Can't Feel My Face, Often
How did people not like Beauty Behind the Madness? It's so underrated. 😱😱
As somebody who was introduced to Marianas Trench this year (thanks Mark from Spectrum Pulse), I was compelled to buy this album and wow...I was impressed and frustrated...how isn't Marianas Trench a bigger band worldwide?
It's a shame that people vote before the year is over. Adele's new album is absolutely amazing, and the fact that it's a worldwide record breaker vouches for that. It's clearly one of the best albums of 2015!
This is a fair rank for it.its no where near as good as 21 or even 19. Actually... It has some of adele's worst songs ever but their still better than any of iron maiden's songs
This album is beautiful.
Should be no1
This should be higher
This is one of the best albums I have ever listened to yet and you know its sometimes impossible to like a whole album, but this one changed that. Every song has its own little thing to love. The lyrics have improved a lot since his last EP (TRXYE) I'm so happy to be able to be on this journey with him and seeing his album at n.1 at some places.
Bjork is truly magnificent. Her instrumentals aren't what are always perfect but her powerful and beautiful vocals add tremendous amount of color and tell stories.
The highest-placed good album on this list is only #19... Smh
What is up with this site's obsession with manufactured, overproduced pop rock/metalcore?
Should be no. 2 after Carrie & Lowell.
