The Contenders: Page 2

21 In Times - Enslaved V 1 Comment
22 Singles - Maroon 5
23 Blue Neighbourhood - Troye Sivan

This is one of the best albums I have ever listened to yet and you know its sometimes impossible to like a whole album, but this one changed that. Every song has its own little thing to love. The lyrics have improved a lot since his last EP (TRXYE) I'm so happy to be able to be on this journey with him and seeing his album at n.1 at some places.

24 Smoke + Mirrors - Imagine Dragons

Kinda disappointed in humanity that this is so low. There's a true beauty to this album that can only be appreciated through multiple listens, and I feel the only reason critics slammed this album is because either they only listened to it once and didn't let it sink in, or just the fact that it's "cool" to hate Imagine Dragons right now.
Truth is, though, this is one of, if not, the best album of the year, with its variation of style between songs and its thoughtful and unique lyrics. Definitely a hugely underrated album that deserves to be in the top 10 (and DEFINITELY above A Head Full Of Dreams by Coldplay. That album was a disaster, and yet it's somehow #6).

Imagine Dragon rocks they are potentially rich and hope they produce much better songs. - divphygamer

Hate me, but Imagine Dragons suck. Critics agree with me too. - winner333

What why is this so low

25 The Powers That B - Death Grips
26 VII: Sturm Und Drang - Lamb of God
27 Cry Baby - Melanie Martinez

AMAZING

This soundtrack should be on one of the top tens this cd is so amazing, it tells you a story about a girl named Cry Baby. It also includes the storybook in the cd case. #MelanieMartinez #CryBaby - jaaaa

28 Repentless - Slayer

I did not vote for this album but it should be way, way, way higher! - Oliwally

This is a POS compared to Drake's albums. Too much yelling, horrible beats, horrible instrumentals, not catchy, and is super-lame.

29 I Love You, Honeybear - Father John Misty
30 Sometimes I Sit and Think, and Sometimes I Sit And Think, And Sometimes I Just Sit - Courtney Barnett
31 Love, Fear and the Time Machine - Riverside
32 Man on the Moon III - Kid Cudi
33 Rattle That Lock - David Gilmour
34 Shadows in the Night - Bob Dylan
35 All Hands - Doomtree
36 Beauty Behind the Madness - The Weeknd

Though this is The Weeknd's weakest it's still brilliantly made. Wow The Weeknd is phenomenal. 8/10 for this album. - AlphaQ

8.5/10
Favorite songs: The Hills, Can't Feel My Face, Often - Mcgillacuddy

37 Vulnicura - Bjork

The highest-placed good album on this list is only #19... Smh

What is up with this site's obsession with manufactured, overproduced pop rock/metalcore?

Bjork is truly magnificent. Her instrumentals aren't what are always perfect but her powerful and beautiful vocals add tremendous amount of color and tell stories.

Should be no. 2 after Carrie & Lowell.
