The Contenders: Page 4
This song deserves more recognition. This should have been the hit Fight Song was. This is inspirational music done right. For those who want to make girl power songs, please take notes from this song.
Love this song. I love the beat, the vocals, everything. I definitely recommend the song to anybody who has taste!
I totally agree this SHOULD have been the hit Fight Song was- better vocals, better video, better singer!
To be honest, I do not remember this song. It did not get the recognition and air play that Fight Song did. Fight Song was ok, but I feel radio overplayed it and now I never want to hear that song again.V 19 Comments
One of my favorite songs from Three Days Grace. Should be number 1
This song is much better than all of those pop songs...
I love this song so much! It represents me as a machine...and I love this band! Definitely my third favorite "first Fall Out Boy second Breaking Benjamin"
I heard this a LONG tme ago but a few weeks ago when it randomly came on in the car, I flipped out and I love it so much. - AnonymousChickV 7 Comments
Underrated, this song is just the true anthem of 2015
My favorite after Tears don't Fall
This song deserves to be first one! Always better than all pop or rap songs. Better than Adele, Taylor Swift, Rihanna or any pop singers. This is METAL! - Nimbusman

Love this song, especially those opening guitar notes
One of the best song of Drones. - psycho-
Iconic guitar riff.
If I knew this song was on this list I would have voter for it instead of reapers.
Either way they're both great songs. - Blackclover01
I like this song magnets because it's not much boring song
It's an electro-lover's dream...and Lorde is one of the few artists who actually has talent. Today's mainstream singers have about as much talent as my pug.
It's Lorde who completes it. It wouldn't be the same with any other artists. I mean, her sultry, salty voice and that bouncy electro beat...ah, wonder. 10/10V 6 Comments
Courtney Barnett is such an underrated artist. I am surprised this is even on the list. This list is full of tons of crap and I am so relieved to see a good song on here.
Why this song is here? It's not better to be in top ten? where we go!... - peyman_eun
Unfortunately this song falls in the same mold as Right Round. Both songs are incredible for what they were meant for, but they were ripped off of songs (to be honest, as songs I prefer Right Round to Like A Record and prefer GDFR to Talk Dirty), and thus any respect I may have for them is lost. - WonkeyDude98
Not going to lie, this song is actually fairly good.
I still don't get how this ripped of Talk Dirty? Neither sounds remotely the same. - ProPanda

Like many have said, Barack Obama called this his favourite song of 2015. He has good tastes. Thanks Obama
Damn, maybe not as successfully commercially but so meaningful - KapiteinKaas
This was Obama's favorite song of 2015. While I don't exactly think that, it is pretty close. - WonkeyDude98V 2 Comments
I hate this song. It has a good message and all but all I hear is auto tune, cheesy lyrics, and an annoying female voice. It literally takes not talent to become famous these days. They overplay this song sooo much on the radio it gets stuck in your head. I HATE this song
Nothing special about this song. She sounds just like every other generic female singer.
Honestly, not only is there absolutely nothing bad about the song, but also nothing that good. To make matters worse, Platten has a much better second hit in Stand By You which has a good chance of making my best of 2016 list. - WonkeyDude98
Yeah. It's a positive self-esteem song with dreamy element, but at the same time, it sounds generic, and her voice sounds annoying. This random song is not that good. I just do not want to hear it. It sounds like she is whining. - madoogV 62 Comments
This song just keeps getting better and better every time I listen to it, which is saying something because it is severely overplayed. There's almost no flaws in this. The beat is incredible, the Remy Boyz's guest verses are incredible, and the chorus is incredible.
In particular, this song does two things to appeal to me. First off, right after Fetty Wap says "I got this sewed up" one of the best things ever happens: HE PULLS OFF TONE BLENDING. He's probably the first person to do so. Next, after all the rap songs depicting emotionless relationships, and all the pop songs about breakups, it's nice to hear about an energetic, happy relationship that's genuinely going well.
I give this song a 4/5, and when combined with Stitches getting deducted a point, it evens out my overall score of the year back to 197/500. - WonkeyDude98
This song was a hit. This song deserved airplay. It was nice to hear it on the radio and see it on Billboard. This song should be a bit higher on this list. The song is good. The sounds are nice. Just listen to it. - madoog
Come on who doesn't like fetty!? He is my bae

I sort of like this song
This is my jam --- nice sounds and lyrics. - madoog
He has amazing songs.

Nowhere near my favorite Imagine Dragons song, as compared to Bleeding Out and even Gold, its sound is kinda bland and the hyperboles could have been less clumsy. But still, it's incredibly powerful and encompasses just how remorseful Dan is towards his parents. - WonkeyDude98
I really hate how all of the great bands (e.g. P! ATD, FOB, Imagine Dragons, Breaking Benjamin, etc.) are at the lowest numbersV 3 Comments
I love this song it is so fun and I love the cover " peace is the mission" you should take that to heart.
It should be among the first five. It's a really an awesome song. It's very popular in my school. Popular than many of those listed in top 10.
I don't consider this a masterpiece. I do not like the way this song sounds --- the instrumental and vocals. I could tell that DJ Snake contributed to this track because the sounds stemmed from Turn Down From What are noticeable. DJ Snake's sounds in Lean On are a sharp form of the sounds in Turn Down For What. Microsoft likes this song. Microsoft used this song in their advertisement. - madoog
Pop single of the decade right here.
It really doesn't get better than this. - ProPanda
Fantastic ballad from Madonna. She should make more songs like this
This entire album is stunning! It's a shame that radio did not play her because this album- Rebel Heart- is a a masterpiece. Ghost town is such a beautiful song and video.
This needs to be higher on the list, she needs to make a lot more songs like Ghosttown. - Catacorn
I don't know. - madoogV 18 Comments
I cannot stand this song. Radio overplayed this song and I automatically turn the station whenever it is playing. I have never heard the entire song because it irritates me so much. I think this is one of Taylor's weaker songs and I hated the video. I prefer her simpler songs and low budget productions. There was too much and I don't feel that is a good fit for Taylor. She's all about girl power but the song is dissing another female. Too much hypocrisy and her squad makes me nauseous.
I know how she feel when she was betrayed by her best friend, Katy Perry because I also feel the same when my friends betray me almost everyday. If I was her, I would write Bad Blood too. I don't criticize her when she released this song and Bad Blood also one of my favorite songs on 1989 but I feel disappointed with the verse lyrics its said Did you have to ruined what was shiny and now all rusted. I think that line doesn't fit with Bad Blood. - BeaM456
As a Taylor Swift fan and someone who thinks lowly of Katy Perry, this song blows hard. Kendrick Lamar, a rapper I also like, is pretty much frosting on the cake here, and it doesn't even go with the "rap diss" power. The beat is also non-existent, it tries to be an anthem but fails. - Swellow
Probably her worst pop song " and 1989 is one of the best albums of 2014, and my third favorite Taylor Swift album. The only reason I don't absolutely hate it is because King Kendrick's verses are kinda nice.V 41 Comments
I just listened to it today 4/12/16. And I gotta say, 7 Years is such a sad, beautiful song. Explains every moment in life. Please listen to this song, I promise you, that you will not regret it. - Catacorn
Great song except for the lyrics. No symbolism, no metaphor, just a man saying what age he is. Very dull, and it seems like something a kid could write.
It's a song about life. Like, the whole life. Every other song seems to be about just one moment in it.

Best vocal of the year, nearly Adele standard!
I found this song on a music app on my tablet. This song is truly amazing, and this is the first song of hers that I like. - madoog
Got a good message Lovely song
Its not like I listen to her everyday,I only listen to her songs when they're on T.V..And yet I can tell how good she isV 10 Comments
G Eazy is underrated and so as this song, I haven't heard it a SINGLE TIME on a radio yet, so if you search up the song you won't regret it, very good song, 5/5
G-Eazy is like one's foot. It's there, but you never notice it. The only difference is that feet are actually important. - WonkeyDude98
I didn't know g Eazy was white until I saw the music video and this song is better than hello or see you again or watch me
Annoying song and overused song title / I immediately stopped listening. - madoogV 17 Comments
