2018 Third Round NFL Draft Picks Most Likely to Succeed

Okay, this is my last list of draft picks most likely to succeed. Anything beyond the third round is difficult to guess. So, here we’re looking at the 2018 third round NFL draft picks most likely to succeed in 2018.
The Top Ten
1 Orlando Brown Jr.

No, I’m not referring to the former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman. I’m talking about his son, who is an offensive lineman who was drafted by the Ravens. Overlooking a horrendous combine, he will be a key protector of whoever the Ravens quarterback is in 2018, following in his father’s footsteps.

2 Mason Rudolph

I’m surprised he fell into the third round, and even more surprised that the Steelers of all teams drafted him. Despite Big Ben’s objections, Rudolph will most likely be his future replacement. Along with Lamar Jackson, Rudolph was the most underrated quarterback in the draft.

3 Arden Key

Besides an LSU production drop and off field issues, Key may be a good rookie this year. He was considered a first rounder at some points, but I think the third round was perfect for him.

4 Ronnie Harrison

I really like the Jaguars defense like most others. Harrison just adds more power to the best backfield in the NFL.

5 Lorenzo Carter

Carter is a good addition to a rebuilding Giants defense. He should’ve been taken in the second round.

6 Sam Hubbard

I think Geno Atkins was happy with this pick. Hubbard will do good for the Bengals defensive line.

7 Justin Reid

The Texans got busy with safeties this offseason. First Tyrann Mathieu, and then a quality safety in Justin Reid.

8 Rashaan Gaulden

The Panthers needed backfield help, and they smartly went with the perfect guy for the job in Gaulden.

9 Michael Gallup

Rebuilding a receiving corps that lost Dez Bryant and Jason Witten is tough. Gallup is a good addition, but what can he bring to Dallas?

10 Nathan Shepherd
The Contenders
11 Royce Freeman
