Wereweegee's Favorite Mario Characters
Mario...one of my favorite video game franchises, if not my favorite. I've had this list swirling in my head for awhile, so here you go.

The Top Ten
Wario is a character in Nintendo's Mario series who was originally designed as an antagonist to Mario. His motives are driven by greed and he will take the side of whoever will give him the most pay. Although he may seem like just a mean man with no heart, he does have a very tragic past.
Number one is...Wario! The fat, greedy rival of Mario. His games are fun and interesting. I own a plush of him, and it's well-loved. - Wereweegee
Luigi is a fictional character featured in video games and related media released by Nintendo. Created by prominent game designer Shigeru Miyamoto, Luigi is portrayed as the slightly younger but taller fraternal twin brother of Nintendo's mascot Mario, and appears in many games throughout the Mario ...read more.
The funny, frightened brother. Yes, I know he's "overrated", and people say his fans suck. I bet you though that there aren't very many fanbases with /good/ fans or haters. Keep that in mind, for I am not either of those. Also, Luigi's Mansion is one of my all-time favorite games. - Wereweegee
Birdo is a dinosaur that is well known for her (or his) confused Gender. It was originally stated that Birdo was a male who believed he was a female, but this was changed in later games. Birdo is commonly referred to as a girl, however, they are in a relationship with Yoshi. Birdo first appeared in ...read more.
I love Birdo! I always play as her in the games she appears in and wish she could be in more main games. Her hate is been going on for too long, and has been too unreasonable. - Wereweegee
Bowser is the main antagonist of the Mario Bros. Franchise. From kidnapping Princess Peach to simply destroying a fun game between Mario and Friends in the Mario Party spinoff series, this king of the Koopas has set up a certain hatred towards himself amongst the large cast of Mario Characters. He first ...read more.
I love villians, and why not bring in the main man himself? He is decently interesting. - Wereweegee
Rosalina, known as Rosetta in Japan, is a major character in the Mario Bros . Franchise . She first appeared in the popular Mario Game, Super Mario Galaxy in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii and later returned for the game's sequel in 2010 . Since then, she has been featured in many main-series Mario Games ...read more.
Of course she'll be on this list! I won't go on and on about her, but her personality and backstory make her quite interesting. - Wereweegee
Toad, known in Japan as Kinopio, is a major character in the Mario Bros . Franchise . He assists Princess Peach in the Mushroom Kingdom and will do whatever it takes to help her . He first appeared in the classic game, Super Mario Bros . after being kidnapped by Bowser and his minions . Since then he ...read more.
I love Toad, and playing as him. He is helpful and cute. I love his voice from MK64. - Wereweegee
Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo.
Light blue Yoshi is the best. But I love his stats in Mario Kart. He's cute, but not as much as Toad. - Wereweegee
Princess Peach is a major character in the Mario Bros. Franchise. She is usually the character who needs saved in most Mario Games, but also has appeared as a playable character in the Main-Series Mario Games, including Super Mario 3D World, Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Run, and even starred in ...read more.
The lovely ruler of the Mushroom Kingdom. Though not the most /original/ character ever made, she at least gets credit for creating the story: getting kidnapped so Mario can save her!
Princess Daisy is a fictional character in the Mario series of video games, in which she is the princess of the fictional region of Sarasaland.
The tomboy and (somewhat) original princess! Her confidence and readyness to fight for herself are unbelievable. She finally got her own amiibo, but now she needs her own game! - Wereweegee
10 Bowser Jr.
Bowser Jr., or sometimes simply Jr., is a video game character who appears in Nintendo's Mario franchise as the secondary antagonist. As his name implies, he is the son of the series' primary antagonist, Bowser.
I LOVE Bowser Jr! I've really gotten into him lately. I can't believe that he wasn't part of the original MK8 roster. But the Koopalings (as much as I like them) were? And same with all the clones?
