Top Ten Super Mario Characters Who Need Roles in Future Mainstream Games

This is list of characters should've BEEN in Main games or more Maingames
The Top Ten
1 Waluigi Waluigi is a lanky self-centered, brusque young lad as he is considered evil and the main rival of Luigi. Waluigi is shown causing local havoc in most games he appears in alongside his partner Wario. Waluigi is not instinctively evil or the antagonist (not counting DDR), as a matter of fact, he shows... read more

Now, Waluigi was indeed born in spinoffs and has been in more and more spinoffs over and over. Seriously, he may have been created by another company but he's not only one who has. He's still a Mario character and this guy has been neglected countless times and was never given a fair chance in any games where could develop a proper character and a PROPER personality. I mean the guy has never even been in one WARIO GAME! He's very popular but this is only because of memes and his catchphrase "WAH" Obviously stolen from Wario" This character needs the proper character development to become a more likable character and the only way to do that is to give him a good role in an actual Main game.

2 Princess Daisy Princess Daisy is a fictional character in the Mario series of video games, in which she is the princess of the fictional region of Sarasaland.

Daisy debuted in Super Mario Land in 1989, after few other appearances she disappeared for nine years until she was brought back in Mario Tennis (2000).

Princess Daisy debuted in one of the most successful games for the revolutionary Gameboy The game Super Mario Land. So she was born in a mainstream game. Her role was pretty much like Princess Peach's and was kidnapped by Tatanga the alien. Not long after she was forgotten for almost 9 years until she made her reappearance in Mario Tennis. Ever since she's been in spinoffs and crossovers til this day. Now she developed a good personality and was differentiated from Peach so they aren't much alike. Daisy existed for almost 2 decades and still hasn't appeared in RPGs nor recent Mario games. Princess Daisy could have a role in a Mainstream game and her kingdom Sarasaland hasn't been seen and people don't even know it exists anymore. The fact she hasn't been in another main game still pisses me off.

3 Toadette Toadette is a character in the Mario series. She is a female Toad who first appeared in the Nintendo GameCube video game Mario Kart: Double Dash.

Toadette is a rather interesting little girl. She was born in a spinoff but went on to appear in many RPGs including the Mario and Luigi series and Paper Mario and even made small Cameos in some Main games but still hasn't been in a real Super Mario title. Why? It confuses me so much because she's already got her own little personality and things about her. She was already proven main game material after her appearance in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker which means she's very capable of appearing in an actual title where she has a good role.

4 Wario Wario is a character in Nintendo's Mario series who was originally designed as an antagonist to Mario. His motives are driven by greed and he will take the side of whoever will give him the most pay. Although he may seem like just a mean man with no heart, he does have a very tragic past.

This guy hasn't been in a mainstream game since that Super Mario 64 remake for DS. Now he's had his own games, his own personality, and values. I don't see why he hasn't been in modern Super Mario title yet where he's the antagonist, ally, or an anti-hero. It'd be nice to see him in another mainstream game with Mario.

5 Pauline Pauline, also known as Daniella Verducci, is the original damsel-in-distress whom Mario must rescue from the eponymous ape in the original Donkey Kong.

Pauline hasn't shown up in Mario games since the Mario and DK series that went on until the latest one released on Wii U. Pauline still exist and needs a proper return to the Mario games and she could get character development in Mainstream games as well as appear in spinoffs. It's time for Pauline's comeback.

6 Birdo Birdo is a dinosaur that is well known for her (or his) confused Gender. It was originally stated that Birdo was a male who believed he was a female, but this was changed in later games. Birdo is commonly referred to as a girl, however, they are in a relationship with Yoshi. Birdo first appeared in... read more

Birdo has been appearing in spinoffs and RPGs for quite a while but when was the last time we saw her in a Mainstream game? Super Mario RPG? Birdo is an interesting character who could have roles in main games so she should be in a maingame.

7 Professor E. Gadd

Professor E. Gadd is a scientist who debuted in Luigi's Mansion and was an awesome character. While he doesn't appear in many games his inventions have been seen in further games. He appeared outside the Luigi series into the Mario and Luigi series and it's been years so shouldn't he be in a Mainstream game?

8 Yoshi Yoshi, once romanized as Yossy, is a fictional anthropomorphic dinosaur who appears in video games published by Nintendo. Often appearing as a sidekick and helper to Mario, Yoshi is most known for his appearances in the Yoshi's Island and the Super Mario franchises.

Where the hell has YOSHI been?! He's been absent from Maingames for a while now so he needs to return.

9 Toadsworth

We've haven't seen much of this guy. Where did he go? He hasn't appeared in a Main game since New Super Mario Bros. he was best known for his debut in Super Mario Sunshine

10 King Boo In the Super Mario series, King Boo is the leader of all the Boos and a major antagonist. He is an ally of King Bowser. He is depicted as a large white Boo with a crown similar to that of Princess Peach... read more

Debuted in Luigi Mansion and seen in Super Mario 64 DS this guy has a lot of potential to become a main enemy.
