Ten Honorable Mentions of Martin Canine's Favorite Songs of 2017 in Alphabetical Order

It’s pretty much always the same when I create a personal list that only reflects my opinion. While at first I’m super happy and sure about what items I picked, within the next few days, I regret to not have included this and that. This also happened when I released my Top 30 Songs of 2017. Don’t get me wrong: these still are my 30 favorite songs of the year. I spent a lot of time throughout all of 2017 compiling them, so that on January 1st, 2018 I had the definite list (of course I will discover more songs of 2017 in the future, but the list is supposed to reflect on my opinion at the end of the year). Nevertheless, I feel a bit “sorry” for the other shortlisted songs that did not make it into my ranking, as all of them made my music year great. It’s especially a pity for the songs released in mid-to-late December, as I had too little time to grow attached to them.

So, to cut a long story short: here are ten songs that I considered including on my best of 2017 list, but ultimately didn’t pick for the top 30. The songs are in no particular order, I just ranked them alphabetically.
