Top 10 Lists by Megasoulhero that Got Their Rules Broken

I don’t know why but this one made me the most angry. Last year I made a list of the best Disney movie couples as well as a list of the worst Disney movie couples. On the worst couples list, I made it very clear about what should be added to the list. Legit Disney couples. And what makes them a legit couple is the two characters actually being in love with each other. But then, someone had the NERVE to add Anna and Hans from Frozen to the list. Um, did we watch the same movie? From what I remember, Hans didn’t really love Anna. He was just using her to get a place on the throne. Anna may have loved him, but since Han didn’t truly love her, that means they weren’t really a couple. I would’ve been fine if it had stayed out of the “top 10” portion of the list, but somehow it made its way to number 6. How is that even possible? This is one of my more recent lists. The only people who could’ve broken the rules of this list are trolls. I doubt anyone is actually this stupid in real life. I made this list after the Oscar nominations were announced and the whole point of it was to predict what’s going to win in each category. FROM THE NOMINATIONS! There’s no POSSIBLE way anyone could’ve not known that! People were actually adding things that weren’t even nominated! Like Cars 3 and Captain Underpants for Best Animated Feature. Did they not even read the nominations? Also, in what universe would people think that Meryl Streep would win Best Actress instead of Fraces McDormand’s AMAZING performance in Three Billboards? That wasn’t a breaking the rules situation, I just needed to get that off my chest. I’m glad I was right about Frances McDormand winning.

I honestly don’t blame people for this one because these days it’s hard to differentiate WDAS and Pixar. It’s known why they still remain as two different companies. Anyway, Brave is a Pixar movie. In fact Merida is the ONLY Disney princess to not come from Walt Disney Animation Studios. Yet someone added her and people actually voted for her. Is it that hard to look things up? It would’ve only taken you a minute to do a Google search and find out that Merida is a Pixar character! Since she’s the only Disney princess to be from Pixar, that COMPLETELY destroys the list! I mean, come on! She’s from Pixar! You know! The OTHER company! That was a direct reference from Wreck-it Ralph 2 that you won’t get until the movie comes out in November.

This one was kind of my fault. I should’ve been more specific. Then again, I don’t see how anyone could’ve misunderstood. What qualifies as a bad Rotten Tomatoes score is anything under 60%. If a movie gets a Rotten Tomatoes score under 60%, then it’s considered rotten. And yes, I’m aware that the Rotten Tomatoes scores are based on the amount of positive reviews that come from critics. I do not know at all how Forrest Gump got on the list. Did it get under 60%? No. It has a 72%! That’s still pretty much a passing grade. Yet it somehow got voted up to number 3 on the list. I guess I should’ve titled the list as “Top 10 Good Movies With Rotten Scores on Rotten Tomatoes” or something, but I guess I didn’t want to use the word “rotten” twice. Whatever. It’s a terrible list anyway. I kind of regret putting Suicide Squad on it.

Normally when something gets added to a list that shouldn’t be added, it’s usually an anonymous user who adds it. This time, it was an actual named user! And I was able to catch their name! The title of the list CLEARLY says “2D Animated Disney Movies”! As in the ones that aren’t made using CG! So why did this particular person add Moana to the list? Moana is an ENTIRELY CG movie! With 2D animation for Maui’s tattoos. But still, it’s a 3D animated movie! There is no POSSIBLE way anyone can think that it’s 2D animated! She either can’t tell the difference or she can’t read!

I made this list back when I was still new to TheTopTens and I didn’t know what I was doing. But what I DID know to do was do research. The list contained upcoming Disney movies that sounded exciting. Most of them have already come out by the way. The list was made in I think 2016. People were only supposed to put movie that were already announced, but someone decided to add Big Hero 7. A sequel to Big Hero 6 that wasn’t announced at the time I made this list and still hasn’t been announced. In fact, I doubt that movie will ever be made. I mean, why would it? There’s already a Big Hero 6 T.V. series. Even if they make a sequel, I doubt it would be called Big Hero 7. I really want to know where this guy got his information from.

The fact that Frozen made it to number 2 on this list is ridiculous. But that’s not what I’m gonna talk about. Someone felt the need to add a movie that doesn’t fit the topic of the list. You’re probably thinking I’m gonna say someone added a Disney movie that didn’t come out in the 21st century, but that’s not the case. Someone added a movie that isn’t even close to being Disney and is practically the opposite of Disney. I’m not gonna bother saying the name of the movie since the name makes me cringe, but I have no idea why someone would think it’s funny to add that movie to a Disney movies list. Maybe he actually thought it was a Disney movie. Nah.

A lot of bad movies came out in the months from January to June of 2017, but the Emoji Movie was NOT one of them! Don’t get me wrong. It’s a bad movie, but it came out in JULY! The month that comes right after June! Also, the fact that the movie didn’t come out until July and the fact that I made this list in June means that literally no one saw the movie when I made the list. So there was no way of knowing if it actually deserved to be included in a “worst movies” list. We eventually found out it does, but still. You can easily go on Google and search the release dates for certain movies. I guess when seeing the words “worst” and “movies” in a title, the first thing that pops up in our minds is the Emoji Movie.

As you may have noticed, I have quite a few lists that focus on theatrically released films. I did the same thing for the Dreamworks films because obviously a list of the worst Dreamworks films has already been taken. So I added the word “theatrical” to make it clear that this list would only include the ones released in theaters. Apparently, not everyone got that. Considering someone added Joseph: King of Dreams to the list. It’s a Prince of Egypt spinoff and it was direct to video. Meaning it didn’t get released in theaters. So it shouldn’t have been on the list. I haven’t seen Joseph: King of Dreams by the way. Don’t really have interest in it.
