Fishing is one of the most iconic jobs, yet it’s no fun, and you work 21 to 24 hours a day each day and week, to make money, and will cause severe exhaustion and problems, yet the deprivation is so long that many fisherman take drugs to feel better.
Yet their fatigue leads to problems like passing out or falling off a boat to their deaths.

2 Animation

Animation looks very entertaining, but it hides a dark secret.
It’s extremely hard and takes years of studying and rigorous training, yet you have to work out deadlines, which means no sleep or food or water for days, or weeks or months or years, when drawing every second to the point of severe muscle injuries and internal and sometimes external bleeding.
It’s not for the faint of heart for sure.

3 Air Traffic Control

You look up constantly during your shifts for planes, and that even means night, so you’re sitting at a precise posture with pure concentration, looking up at planes for the safety of them and everyone of them.
In fact, every once in a while, there are news reports of people sleeping in that job.

Being a firefighter is an extremely dangerous, and tiring job.
Some stay up to 96 hours running around saving people and putting out fires during a serious incident.
It’s been said that sleep deprivation increases the chance of heart attack, so the number one cause of death by firefighters is a heart attack, not being burned by the job.

Being a cop requires huge responsibility and looking out, yet helping people, which consumes many hours, and they only sleep up to 4 1/2 hours a night, which is very short.

9 Nurse

Being a nurse is an incredibly hard job, so hard that they stay up many hours and do night shifts while helping the patients at the hospitals.
It’s for their safety, comfort and health, and sleep deprivation is not healthy.

10 Flight Attendant

Being a flight attendant isn’t just being nice to the guests and giving them food or being all cute.
It’s serious work.
They monitor every moment where the plane’s going and is often with the pilots, and have to spend many hours of the day keeping check for the safety.
