The Top Ten
1 Use Your Skills, Passions, and Knowledge To Your Advantage

Passion - If you do what you love, you're gonna enjoy it more, and you're gonna work harder and you're gonna care more.
Skills - If you're good at it, use it to your advantage.
Knowledge - If you know about it, talk about it.

To be skilled is not just to have a gift in a field, but to be able to use it.

I've bookmarked this page, and I plan this entire thing for YouTube, Twitter and Twitch.

2 Find Your Audience

If you are, for example, a guitarist on YouTube, find a community of guitarists, and also put guitar related tags in your videos and social media posts so that people who would like you find you.

3 Make the First Thing Seen Something That Will Grab People's Attention

On YouTube, the first thing you see is the thumbnail. This is called clickbait. It's usually used in a negative context but keep looking at this list...

4 Be Honest With Click-bait

The reason people hate click-bait is because they click on the video for something that the video didn't satisfy their craving for. Click-bait is good for getting clicks and thus ad revenue and views, but when people are disappointed they're not likely to come back for more, so make sure that attention grabbing thumbnail or title represents the video decently.

5 Reach Out to Promoters

For example, on Instagram their are people who find musician posts and feature them, and advertise the musicians as well (like solosection and pickupjazz). Find them and do what you must, such as putting a certain hashtag in your post, or messaging them.

6 Be Consistent

If you don't upload content for over a year, expect people to unsubscribe or unfollow.

Let that be a lesson to you.

7 Interact with the Audience In Some Way

Such as talking to them.

A lot of YouTubers I watch or am familiar with do happen to do this to an extent. In my case, my favorite YouTuber Saberspark is quite interactive with his viewers. And by interactive, it's a lot more than him just talking to them. A few examples are giveaways, Q&A sessions, and even charity streams or fundraisers. I'm sure a lot of other YouTubers do this too. It does things for the better. Especially the charities.

8 Collaborate

This benefits both you and the person you collaborate with because they tell people about you and you tell people about them.

9 Have Some Variety

Do different things sometimes, or do multiple things. It makes things more interesting because it makes you less predictable (unless they're predicting variety) and it also helps you build an audience because by doing multiple things, you appeal to multiple groups.

I will work on this so maybe I will become a better user!

10 Do Things That Will Get You Discovered

Such as playing at a music festival and posting a recording of it online.

I need to do this since I want to be a musician, but dude, I have a huge procrastination problem and always feel like I am not ready to show myself yet.
