This list is a non-votable list and the content of the list reflects the opinion of its author.

The Top Ten

1 One - Metallica

Definitely the best. It is the most unique Metallica song and is just magical to listen to. Also the solo is from another galaxy.

2 Master of Puppets - Metallica

Arguably the best Metallica riff. It is the title track on one of the best Metallica albums and it has 2 solos and good lyrics.

3 Fade to Black - Metallica

Do I need to explain why is it so high? The greatest metal ballad with one of the best outdo solos ever. Also the intro and the acoustic riff are worth mentioning.

4 For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica

R.I.P. Cliff. This is an energy filling song from start to finish with an underrated guitar solo in the first 2 minutes and an awesome bass intro.

5 Enter Sandman - Metallica

Overrated my ass. I hate when people call this song overrated. How can you hate this masterpiece? The riff is really great and the solo even though the wah pedal is used so much, it is still great. Also the lyrics are haunting and smart.

6 Creeping Death - Metallica

The heaviest Metallica song. The intro is awesome and the “Die” part is absolutely awesome. Also the lyrics are great as they talk about the plagues of Egypt.

7 Nothing Else Matters - Metallica

The song that meant they sold out but still one of the best. The intro is iconic and the solo is great.

8 Welcome Home - Sanitarium

€One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest” is a great movie and by listening to this awesome song I can reminisce this song easier. The ending part is awesome and the intro is great.

9 Seek & Destroy - Metallica

The best song on Metallica’s debut album and one of the best thrash metal songs of all time. The highlight of this song is the riff while the lyrics aren’t special, something which is very noticable on Kill Em All.

10 Ride the Lightning - Metallica Ride the Lightning - Metallica

Barely sneaking into the Top 10 is The title track from the best Metallica album. I love the intro of this song and the solo isn’t bad either.
