Top 10 Bands That the User CaptainMowzker Likes That Other People Hate

This list will be the opposite of the "Bands I Hate that Other People Like" list. These are bands I enjoy that other people either on this site or RYM despise.
This list is a non-votable list and the content of the list reflects the opinion of its author.

The Top Ten

1 Nickelback Nickelback Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta, Canada. The band is composed of guitarist and lead vocalist Chad Kroeger, guitarist, keyboardist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair.

I think the Nickelback hate has gotten stale. Sure they're not 7/10 or 10/10 material for Christ's sake but they aren't the musical antichrist that people think they are. There's been way WORSE bands than Nickelback especially when you compare them to Hinder. And Chad has a pretty decent voice.

2 Hoobastank Hoobastank Hoobastank is an American rock band, formed in 1994 in Agoura Hills, California with lead singer Doug Robb, guitarist Dan Estrin, drummer Chris Hesse, and original bassist Markku Lappalainen.

Sure they're kind of cheesy but I've heard worse.

3 Theory Of A Deadman Theory Of A Deadman Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian post-grunge band. Formed in 2001, the band is currently signed to Roadrunner Records as well as 604 Records. They were discovered by Nickelback lead singer Chad Kroeger.

Similar to Nickelback hate it gets old after a while.

4 AC/DC AC/DC AC/DC are a Australian hard rock band, formed in November 1973 by brothers Malcolm and Angus Young, who continued as members until Malcolm's illness and departure in 2014 . They were fronted by Bon Scott until his untimely death due to alcohol poisoning in 1979, after which they hired Brian Johnson more.

Sure a lot of their songs sound the same and they're cheesy as hell but they aren't horrible.

5 Motley Crue Motley Crue Mötley Crüe was an American metal band formed in Los Angeles, California on January 17, 1981. The group was founded by bassist Nikki Sixx and drummer Tommy Lee, lead vocalist Vince Neil and lead guitarist Mick Mars.

I kind of like some Glam Metal despite the hate the genre it gets.

6 Slipknot Slipknot Slipknot is an American Heavy Metal band formed in 1995 from Iowa. The band is best known as one of the pioneers of the New Wave of American Heavy Metal during the late 1990s - 2000s and are distinguishable by the band's clothing choices, consisting of black/red jumpsuits and horror inspired masks. more.

They're not for everyone but if given the chance I'd rather listen to Slipknot than Cannibal Corpse.

7 Linkin Park Linkin Park Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in Agoura Hills, California, in 1996. The members currently include Mike Shinoda (vocals, keyboards, rhythm guitar), Brad Delson (guitar), Dave "Phoenix" Farrell (bass), Joe Hahn (DJ) and Rob Bourdon (drums). Linkin Park are associated with a mixture of Alternative more.

*Awaits edgy hate comments*

8 Korn Korn Korn is an American Nu-Metal band from Bakersfield, California, formed in 1993. The band's current lineup includes founding members Jonathan Davis, James "Munky" Shaffer, Brian "Head" Welch, and Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu, with the addition of Ray Luzier, who replaced the band's original member, David more.

Some people hate for being "poser" metal. But I don't think they're trying to be metal at all, hell Jonathan Davis even said that Korn isn't metal. Even if they're not metal I dig the guitar riffs and Jonathan's creepy yet intriguing voice.

9 Daughtry Daughtry Daughtry is an American rock band formed and fronted by namesake Chris Daughtry, who was a finalist on the fifth season of American Idol. Their self-titled debut album was released in November 2006.

I don't get the hate for Daughtry. They might be cheesy but they have a hell of a singer.

10 Paramore Paramore Paramore is an American rock band from Franklin, Tennessee, formed in 2004. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Hayley Williams, guitarist Taylor York, and drummer Zac Farro.

Some people hate them for being "emo". And they don't really come off as emo to me. Plus I think Hayley Williams is a talented singer.
