Top 10 Animes

The Top Ten
1 Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood

FMA:B Definitely deserves it's place as the highest rated anime. It's characters are unique and very well written, their drives and goals are very believable as well. The animation is very well done and it still holds up despite being almost 10 years old at this point. Overall I'd say it is 100% a must watch anime, most everything it tries to do it succeeds at doing. I give Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood an 8.5/10

2 No Game No Life No Game No Life is a surreal comedy that follows Sora and Shiro, shut-in NEET siblings and the online gamer duo behind the legendary username "Blank." They view the real world as just another lousy game; however, a strange e-mail challenging them to a chess match changes everything—the brother and sister are plunged into an otherworldly realm where they meet Tet, the God of Games. ...read more.

NGNL is a great anime filled with comedy, memorable characters, and a beautiful art-style. This is one of those shows where you could take a screenshot during any point of an episode and it would make an amazing wallpaper. The writing in NGNL is also really well done. It has many jokes and scenes that poke fun at traditional anime tropes, as well as some scenes where the creativeness and ingenuity of the MC really shines through. Overall I'd give No Game No Life an 9/10

3 My Hero Academia

MHA is a really good show with really good waifus. Every girl is best girl which is a hard thing to do for an anime. Its also a really diverse show where you could be crying one episode, laughing during another, and then being on the edge of your seat during a fighting episode. Overall I'd give My Hero Academia a solid 8/10

4 Assasination Classroom

AC is a show about middle schoolers trying to kill their teacher, who is a super powered tentacle monster. This show is one of my favorites because the main antagonist/protagonist (the teacher) is such a well written and memorable character. AC does suffer due to the very large cast of characters it throws at you, it can get overwhelming and many characters never get proper development. Also the main character is a trap so that is like +10 points right there. Overall I'd give Assassination Classroom an 8/10

5 Overlord

Overlord is like SAO with plot. Despite being a fairly new anime this show has the potential to become one of the greats. It turns so many traditional shonen tropes on their heads and does a really good job at portraying very overpowered people being very overpowered. I can't wait to see where this show goes in the future. Overall I'd give Overlord an 8.5/10

7 Attack on Titan Attack on Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, created by Hajime Isayama, is one of the most popular Japanese anime series to be released. It was first watched in Japan during 2013 and was dubbed in English to be watched in America in 2014. It is best known for its emotional moments, apocalyptic setting, and its dramatic story line, and action packed scenes.

Attack On Titan is many peoples first anime so I feel like it deserves a place on the list. It's actually pretty good for the first season but they went too fast and ran out of material which is a shame. It doesn't do anything you haven't seen in other shows, although I will say the titans designs are pretty cool. Overall I'd give Attack On Titan a 6/10

8 Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma Shokugeki no Soma (食戟のソーマ Shokugeki no Sōma) is a manga written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki in collaboration with Yuki Morisaki, a famous chef. Good food and big boobs, what else do you need in an anime. Food wars is a nice niche anime that does what it wants to do very well. The two main focuses of the show are always shown off very well. The food always looks delicious and the fan-service is always good too. Overall I'd give Food Wars a 7/10

9 Fate/Stay Night Fate/stay night is a Japanese visual novel and anime series by Type-Moon. There are three story lines in the visual novel: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel. A 24-episode anime series based on the Fate route and a film based on the Unlimited Blade Works route were made by Studio Deen. A new 25-episode anime series based on the Unlimited Blade Works route was made by Ufotable, which is also making an upcoming film trilogy based on the Heaven's Feel route.

I personally know Fate/Stay Night as a VN but the anime adaptation is still pretty good comparatively. This show does a really good job at taking it's various source materials from myths and history and translating that into an entertaining anime. Overall I'd give Fate/Stay Night a 7.5/10

10 Dragon Ball Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It made anime popular in America and is based on the manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama. It was dubbed in English on Cartoon Networks Toonami block and still has many fans today.

The Dragon ball series is so big it's hard to give it all a concise review so I'm just gonna be brief. It's a good show with some really good fight scenes. It can drag on a lot with the amount of standing or flying around there is but that doesn't make it a bad show by any means. Overall I'd give the Dragon Ball series a 6.5/10
