Ridley is a villain from the Metroid series and a character from the Super Smash Bros. series. He's Samus Aran's archenemy and has been fighting her since day one with the first Metroid game in 1986. When Samus was three years old, Ridley murdered her parents in front of her. He is a member of the Space Pirates and works for Mother Brain. Ridley became my main for one reason and one reason alone - that side-b is the funniest one to spam.
Not only that, the side B makes Ridley faster than Sonic.

Terry Bogard is a video game character created by SNK who is the protagonist of the Fatal Fury series. I just wish that whole thing about Rock Howard existing, let alone Terry raising him, had been left out completely instead of hinted at with Lucas in Terry's trailer and Rock (constantly) appearing in KoF Stadium.

Incineroar, known in Japan as Gaogaen, is a Pokémon species in Nintendo and Game Freak's Pokémon franchise. Inceineroar? That came out of nowhere. Oh well. He is my favorite gen 7 starter so I'll give him that. He is meant for wrestling (still don't understand that) so I guess he's kind of meant for smash.
Let's face it, if it weren't for Smash Bros people would still be trating Decidueye like he's the batman of Gen 7.
The Piranha Plant, known as the Pakkun Flower in Japan, is a plant species from the Mario franchise which usually appears as a leafy green stalk topped with a white-spotted red or green globe, with a maw lined with sharp teeth reminiscent of piranhas. As in, this is a playable character? Source?

Now if only they'd changed Robin's Final Smash. Though at least they did change Palutena's Guidance for Robin.
