Martin Canine's Most Listened To Songs of This Week (January 14th to 20th, 2019) According To His Smartphone

You know the time, you know the procedure. You may not know the songs, but you know the dingo that listened to them. From 70s chansons to 2010s industrial tracks, it's all there.
The Top Ten
1 Ponyboy - SOPHIE

Sophie's beautiful dark twisted fantasy.

Might also work as the theme song for clopfics.

2 Mutter - Rammstein

I made a song analysis about this track, it's in my posts. In case anyone who does not speak German - or does - is interested in the poetry of Rammstein.

3 Mo Bamba - Sheck Wes

First thought: "Turn My Swag On, Vol. 2. Complete trash"
Second thought: "well... at least it's catchy. And the beat is not half bad. Still, the lyrics and delivery aren't good."
Third thought: "damn, this song is stuck in my head forever. May listen to it."
Fourth thought: "I'm balliin' like a mother prooo! "

4 Drunk in Love - Beyoncé & Jay-Z

I love that "watermelon" part way too much. This song is like a rush, alcohol and hormomes.

5 Bitte Spitte Toi Lab (Banger Musik RMX) - Farid Bang, Majoe & KC Rebell

This beat is ungodly great. Also the three rappers do an absolutely stunning job at "spitten", the rhyming of homophones, which the song is based upon.

6 Valse de Melody - Serge Gainsbourg

Much too short, just like the album in general. The concept album, regarded as one of the greatest French albums of all time, clocks in at only 27 minutes, and this song, although musically stunning, does not nearly last for 2 minutes. I want more!

7 Formation - Beyoncé

I wonder whether "Formation" or "Wish You Were Here" by Rednex is the song that appeared on these lists most often.

8 Lemon Incest - Serge & Charlotte Gainsbourg

Provocation is a dying art. Save it from extinction. But hey, as long as we have Lars von Trier movies, preferably starring this very Charlotte, we are fine.

9 En Melody - Serge Gainsbourg

I am scared this album will lose its status as one of the greatest pieces of art music due to modern ideas of what's acceptable in art.

10 Family First - Shindy

Lots of drama around Shindy's legacy going on right now. The rapper and producer was signed to Bushido's label but the rights belong to Arafat Abou-Chaker of the criminal clan of the same name. Now that Bushido and Arafat parted ways, that leaves the highly popular figure in German hip hop in limbo. But he announced an album for this year and already released a single (not this one, this song is already from 2016) from it, under a completely new label many assume was founded by himself.
