The Top Ten
1 Kelly Rowland Kelendria Trene "Kelly" Rowland is a Grammy Award winning American singer, songwriter, actress and television personality.

She has so much talent but wastes it all on trashy songs. Most of her discography sound like songs that Beyonce rejected.

2 Tinashe Tinashe Jorgenson Kachingwe, known professionally as Tinashe, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, actress and former model.

She's just not a good artist, her voice is very irritating. Not really underrated.

3 Mya Mýa Marie Harrison is an American singer, songwriter, dancer, producer, and actress. Born into a musical family, before entering the music industry she appeared on BET's Teen Summit. Signed in 1996 to Interscope Records, she released her eponymous debut album in April 1998.

Not underrated, it's just that she wasn't a very good artist and her time was up years ago. Mya singing sounds like britney spears trying to sing r&b, no bueno! Some things should just stay in the past and forgotten and Mya is one of them.

4 Jhene Aiko Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo, known as Jhené Aiko or Jhené, is an American singer and songwriter from Los Angeles, California.

She ain't underrated, she's just not a good artist and can't sing.

She CAN sing!

5 Solange Knowles

6 Tamia
7 Keri Hilson Keri Lynn Hilson is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia and spent most of her youth working with producer Anthony Dent as a songwriter and background vocalist for several R&B and hip hop artists.
8 Monica Monica is an R&B singer who was most popular in the 90s. Her most well-known song was "The Boy Is Mine" with R&B singer Brandy.

She's not so much underrated, it's just that she had her time and it ended. Her music has gotten increasingly worse over the years. Code Red was an awful album.

9 Keyshia Cole Keyshia Cole is an r&b diva who was popular in the mid 2000's with songs like "Love", "Heaven Sent", "I Remember" and "Let It Go." Keyshia's r&b is known for it's 'hood' edge to it, and a lot of this is due to one of her biggest inspirations being Tupac Shacur.

She's okay but not really underrated, most of these artists on this list are just fallen stars who can't figure out how to make good music anymore.

10 Jennifer Hudson Jennifer Kate Hudson is an American singer, actress and spokesperson. She rose to fame in 2004 as a finalist on the third season of American Idol, coming in seventh place.

Now J Hud is one of the few artists on this list with actual talent, I don't know if I'd call her underrated because she's respected and known for her great voice, she's only underrated in the pop world but in the r&b world she's rated properly.
