Martin Canine's Most Listened To Songs of This Week (January 28th to February 3rd, 2019) According To His Smartphone

I know, I was quite inactive, but I was busy studying for my exams. I will try to be more active again soon. In the meantime: here are my most listened to songs of last week!
The Top Ten
1 Next Life - Inner Tongue

This guy is almost completely unknown. Just accidentally stumbled across his music while browsing. Give his album a try, it's really worth it. And maybe I ranked this track too low on my best of 2018 list.

2 Les sucettes - France Gall
3 This Is What Makes Us Girls - Lana Del Rey

Underrated song by one of the decade's greatest singer-songwriters.

4 Apocalyptic Infinity - SpongeBozz

Tracks as long this usually don't land on my most listened to lists (with 18 and a half minutes of length it's almost as long as some of albums of last year) - but apparently I was obsessed with it last week.

5 Hash Pipe - Weezer

Is this song cool? Yes. Yes, it is. Nothing to add. Sometimes songs are just plain cool. Okay, maybe one thing to add: "The Green Album" is just as great as the blue one.

6 Be Careful - Cardi B

And she means it. Don't you mess with her, because... let's just quote her: "I'm ready for war, remember: I got a gun! " I know that's from another song, but still.

7 Buddy Holly - Weezer

This sounds like the early The Beatles married emo. Luvit.

8 Formation - Beyoncé

Hello, Formation. So we meet again? Haven't you brought your friend "Wish You Were Here" along?

9 Take Me to Church - Hozier

This song is a legit masterpiece. A 10 out of 5. At least.
Music: 10
Lyrics: 10
Vocal delivery: 10

10 Lieder - Adel Tawil

Fun fact: the lyrics to this German pop song consist (almost) entirely of translated titles of other songs which Adel Tawil grew up with and listened to in his youth. Among them: Purple Rain, Firestarter, Walk Like An Egyptian, Come As You Are, etc.
