Far and away the best Godzilla film post 1970.
Goes by several names, but this is the title I saw it under. One of the most underrated kaiju films. I seem to favour ones with aliens and several monsters.
AKA Godzilla vs. Mothra, Godzilla vs. The Thing. I have a lot of affection for Mothra and its weird mythology. I won't deny the films of the 90s and 00s are technically better, but the 60s was Godzilla at its most fun in my view.
While this does have the best movies,I'm kind of disappointed with this list mostly because it doesn't have Ghidorah the three headed monster
Another rock-solid entry in the 'Millennium' series that really did start well.
Another winner from the 00s era of Godzilla films, and the best Mechagodzilla film ever made.
One of the best of the 'Hesei' series, even Rodan isn't bad in this, and Rodan is normally useless.
One of the best kaiju films of the 1990s, it's got a Japanese Indiana Jones vibe to some of it.
A favourite of many, this one looks pretty incredible, the monster action is terrific. The humans do suck, though.
