The Top Ten
1 They benefited from other NBA Teams’ injuries The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

In 2015, Kyrie Irving was lost for the reminder of the NBA Finals for the Cavs and the Warriors won in six games. In 2017, Kawhi Leonard was lost for the rest of the Western Conference Finals and the Warriors swept the Spurs. In 2018, Chris Paul didn't play in games six and seven for the Rockets. It's possible that had any of these injuries not occur, the Warriors might not even be the champions.

This list has a lot of truth

2 All three titles came against the same team. The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. When it comes to dynasties, you want to see how they would do against other competition. The Warriors played the Cavaliers in four straight NBA Finals and won three of them. That was because the Cavaliers were the best team in the Eastern Conference when LeBron was with them during that time.

3 Kevin Durant joined an already great team from an NBA Title Contender Kevin Wayne Durant is an American professional basketball player for the Brooklyn Nets of the National Basketball Association. He has played for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Golden State Warriors, and the Nets. He was MVP of the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals.

When LeBron James joined the Miami Heat, he was coming from a Cavaliers team that wasn't going to get over the hump and the Heat were not in the Finals conversation until he and Chris Bosh joined Dwayne Wade. When Kevin Durant joined the Warriors, he was coming from a Thunder team that was one win away from defeating Golden State before blowing a 3-1 series lead. LeBron's move, while disappointing, was an understanding of him wanting to learn how to win while Durant's move is seen as a can't beat them, join them move. This really gave the Warriors and unfair advantage for the rest of the NBA.

4 Steph Curry didn’t show up in the NBA Finals like he did in the regular season The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Curry had won two MVP's during the regular season. But when it came to the NBA Finals, he really didn't show up. Andre Igoudala won the 2015 NBA Finals MVP while KD was selected as the 2017 and 2018 NBA Finals MVP.

5 They’re best team won 73 games, but no ring The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

Golden State had set an NBA record with 73 regular season wins. But they still blew a 3-1 series lead to the Cavaliers in 2016.

6 No three-peat The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

While back-to-back and three wins in four years are qualifications to be a dynasty, the best dynasties (Lakers, Celtics, Bulls) win three in a row. Golden State didn't do that.

7 Golden State Warriors not as effective without Kevin Durant The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

KD was a big boost for the Warriors when he joined them. But when he wasn't playing, Golden State appeared vulnerable and the Toronto Raptors exposed that by winning the title in 2019.

Thompson injury was bad for the Warriors

8 Off-Shooting Night propelled Warriors to the Finals The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

The Rockets get blamed for having a bad shooting night in Game 7 of the 2018 Western Conference Finals. But perhaps it was one of those lucky nights that the three's didn't go in and Golden State survived to win the series in seven games.

9 Different style of basketball not dynastic worthy The Golden State Warriors are an American professional basketball team based in San Francisco. The Warriors compete in the National Basketball Association as a member of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. Location: San Francisco, CA Arena/Stadium: Chase Center Head coach: Steve Kerr NBA championships: 2018, 2017, 2015, 1975, 1956, 1947 Owners: Joseph S. Lacob (majority), Peter Guber

Hardcore NBA fans are perhaps used to defensive basketball where players drive to the lane and draw hard fouls while scoring. While Golden State changed the game with how they play, the use of the long ball makes them soft to people's eyes who feel they wouldn't defeat the 90's Bulls or 01 Lakers.

10 Steve Kerr only won titles because he had the best players. Stephen Douglas Kerr is an American professional basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association.

Legendary coaches like Red Auerbach, Pat Riley, and Phil Jackson have won titles because they had great players and knew how to manage them. But with Kerr, his team was so good that he just had to keep them in line.
