Adding Your Signature to Comments and Lists

admin Judging by the number of people who write their name, nickname, handle, etc., at the end of their comments, people like to claim their contributions to TheTopTens. Fortunately, we have made this easy.

When you add a comment or a new list, we automatically add comment signatures when you are logged into TheTopTens. Registering is free and it creates a page where you can let other know a little bit about you. It is also a good place to put links to MySpace pages, Facebook pages, or just about any other site you want other people to see.

So if you want to let people know who left a comment or created a list, just make sure to sign in before making any additions. It works much better than having a thousand different ways for people to sign comments and it is a way for people to provide contact info without having it in each comment. And yes, there are quite a few people who put their e-mail address, IM handle, and even phone number in comments. So if you really want this information to be available so people can contact you to discuss your contributions and opinions, please sign in and add the contact info to your member page.
