The Top Ten
1 South Africa South Africa, officially the Republic of South Africa, is the southernmost sovereign state in Africa. It is bounded on the south by 2,798 kilometers of coastline of Southern Africa stretching along the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans, on the north by the neighbouring countries of Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe, and on the east by Mozambique and Swaziland, and surrounding the kingdom of Lesotho.

I think that only some countries in Africa are good for living... I think South Africa, Nigeria and Morocco are some good countries to live in because of their economies...

When it comes to living standards, South Africa is doing pretty well for Africa, and the economy is adequate, and it's a fairly safe place to live.

I'm Zimbabwean but South Africa is a great place to visit. Great culture all-round, best beer, what's not to like there?

2 Morocco Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco, is the northwesternmost country in the Maghreb region of North Africa. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Atlantic Ocean to the west, and has land borders with Algeria to the east, and the disputed territory of Western Sahara to the south. I think Morocco as one of top destinations in the world and definitely top 1 in Africa makes a really good place of living which is capable to get improved

Egypt is one of the best countries in Africa to live in, not too much racism (South Africa), not war-torn (South Sudan, Somalia), not impoverished (CAR, DRC, South Sudan), lots of people speak English (Portuguese and French speaking countries) and it has a lot of old buildings (most Sub-Saharan countries).

5 Mauritius Mauritius, officially the Republic of Mauritius, is an island nation in the Indian Ocean about 2,000 kilometres off the southeast coast of the African continent.

Far from being the only safe African country in existence, especially since there's also Botswana, Ghana, Morocco, Namibia, Rwanda, and Seychelles.

Not as well-known as others on this list, but it definitely is one of the best countries in central Africa. Whereas most of them have suffered civil war and face issues such as deforestation, Gabon is rapidly growing and has beautiful sights in the cities of Libreville!
