Top 10 Most Aggressive Dog BreedsThis is a list of the top ten most aggressive dog breeds.
I like American Pit Bull Terriers and all, but they are aggressive dogs. If you want one, you should learn how to handle it responsibly.
Because they are strong, intelligent dogs that are eager to please, pit bulls can be made into highly aggressive killing machines. That said, reputable studies clearly demonstrate pit bulls are not inherently aggressive. In fact, pit bulls are less aggressive towards people than average which makes them relatively poor guard dogs unless they are trained for that purpose.
They kill more people a year than spiders do in the US. I'm not saying all pit bulls are aggressive, their not. But they are much more prone to aggression than lots of other dog breeds. But its proven that chihuahuas are more aggressive, but I would rather have a aggressive 6 pound chihuahua than a tearing aggressive 80 pound pit bull.
Dangerous breed that should not be in households especially with children and smaller pets.
If a Rottweiler and a Doberman bred, would they have puppies that look just like them due to the parents having similar coats and patterns?
The Doberman is a tall and confident dog. Its coat is very similar to the rottweiler.
I have one named spot. He was mean and scary at first but he saved mah life! I'm allergic to bees and I whacked a nest with a stick on accident...bees came out and well... SPOT TO THE RESCUE! He pulled at my sleeve and then attacked those bees, began barking super loud until my mom woke up and set bug spray down! He's still a little agressive today.
Seriously, I don't know why my dad love them so much!
The is a very big and strong dog breed.
We are owning a Rottweiler in my house, and she is not aggressive at all
I've had 2 Chihuahuas attack Randy, but luckily Randy chased them off. I'm very concerned for those dogs, because they were unleashed and they might have neglectful owners. - Joshtition24
In my opinion these dogs are way more aggressive than the stereotyped Pit Bull. they are almost always yapping.
This is one ferocious breed of dog! It's teeth can rip through human skin.
As much as I love chihuahuas, I wouldn't own one if I had kids.
The person who said German Shepherds are more dangerous than a pit bull is totally wrong. German Shepherds are NOT aggressive but like most dogs, they can be trained to be aggressive but only if they're trained as police/security dogs. My German Shepherds were never aggressive. They were intelligent, loving, loyal, kind & gentle. We treated them well & they treated us well. Once you've owned a German Shepherd dog, you'd never want to own any other breed.
I've owned 2 German Shepherd dogs at different stages, both adult dogs when they first came to live with me, and neither of them were aggressive. They never bit nor attacked anyone and they were great with children. However, there are people who are scared of German Shepherds which is ridiculous. Mind you, I would never approach nor touch a German Shepherd dog I didn't know. Treat all dogs with the respect they deserve and they will repay you with love and devotion a gazillion times over.
German Shepherds can be trained to be aggressive but from my experience, they are not naturally aggressive... my German Shepherds were not trained to be aggressive & they never attacked or bit anyone. They're the most intelligent, devoted, loving, loyal dogs in the canine kingdom.
That's only if you don't train them well enough, then they could disobey you and turn aggressive. My tip is to train them early. Do not underestimate this breed, it is very powerful and very intelligent.
They're meaner than a Rottweiler. People only adopt them for their looks, and that's obviously the reason why the majority of this breed is untrained and aggressive. Due to their owners babying them, they believe they own everything and bark at anything with no warning. I know there are some actually smart owners who train their Chow Chows, but even the ones that are trained tend to still attack people if they want. This breed is just based on neglection and personality.
They look rude/mean
Ya they are mean.
I used to like Dachshunds until two attacked my old dog and one tried to rip my cat apart.
They're nasty dogs
Not that aggressive, my cousin's Dachshund just stares at me dumbfounded.
One was really aggressive with me. Tried to bite my leg off!
The Dalmatian is a spotted dog that is tall and has lots of energy. They are good with kids at all.
Should be higher than Chow Chow. These things are even banned in some countries due to their being aggressive.
The Alaskan malmute is sled dog just like the husky. The Alaskan malmute has a very similar coat to the husky.
They aren't really very aggressive. I have one and he's fine. Yeah, he sometimes snaps, but he's a puppy and still learning. Huskeys and Akitas are way more aggressive.
No this is not true. I had a jack russel he passed sadly. And I still cry to this day thinking about him.
There are friendly dogs in every breed. From what I've seen, the Siberian huskies are one of the most caring breed of dog, but because they're so active, I would watch them around a little kid just to make sure they don't knock them down by accident.
The Husky is a fast and high energy dog breed, it is similar to the Alaskan malmute.
Great with kids, but will attack if it has to.
Don't trust them
The Akita is a tall dog that has great hunting skills.
Those things have fat faces..
Very similar to the Doberman, obviously the reason why people rarely buy this breed.
The Boxer is a a average strong dog that has a average size.
