Top 10 Most Aggressive Dog Breeds

This is a list of the top ten most aggressive dog breeds.

The Top Ten

1 American Pit Bull Terrier The American Pit Bull Terrier is a dog breed. It is a medium-sized, solidly-built, short-haired dog whose early ancestors came from the British Isles.

Oh meh good thes dog is soooo aggressive my neighbors have one and it's yappie and growls + barks at my pup. That pitbull is really a bull. It's hard to live next to him

I hate the person who made pit bulls top of the list. Pitbulls are not aggressive. I love pitbulls but who ever made pitbulls be ¨aggressive" just so you know I hate you SO bad you should go to jail.

Because they are strong, intelligent dogs that are eager to please, pit bulls can be made into highly aggressive killing machines. That said, reputable studies clearly demonstrate pit bulls are not inherently aggressive. In fact, pit bulls are less aggressive towards people than average which makes them relatively poor guard dogs unless they are trained for that purpose.

They kill more people a year than spiders do in the US. I'm not saying all pit bulls are aggressive, their not. But they are much more prone to aggression than lots of other dog breeds. But its proven that chihuahuas are more aggressive, but I would rather have a aggressive 6 pound chihuahua than a tearing aggressive 80 pound pit bull.

2 Rottweiler The Rottweiler is a breed of domestic dog, regarded as medium-to-large or large. The dogs were known in German as Rottweiler Metzgerhund, meaning Rottweil butchers' dogs, because one of their uses was to herd livestock and pull carts laden with butchered meat to market.

I have one named spot. He was mean and scary at first but he saved mah life! I'm allergic to bees and I whacked a nest with a stick on accident...bees came out and well... SPOT TO THE RESCUE! He pulled at my sleeve and then attacked those bees, began barking super loud until my mom woke up and set bug spray down! He's still a little agressive today.

My grandparents have one of these, and his name is Bear. When I was younger, they had a pool party at their house, and when I got out of the pool, Bear did the play pose and jumped onto me. Now, when I tried to pet him, he almost but me. Luckily I moved my hand just in time. He’s old, and hates everyone except for his adopter, but he hates me a lot.

We are owning a Rottweiler in my house, and she is not aggressive at all

Seriously, I don't know why my dad love them so much!

3 Chihuahua The Chihuahua is the smallest breed of dog and is named for the state of Chihuahua in Mexico. Chihuahuas come in a wide variety of sizes, head shapes, colors, and coat lengths.

This is one ferocious breed of dog! It's teeth can rip through human skin.

Not aggressive of course lol
but they can get small dog syndrome which is why I'm voting for them

You might think not but these are kinda violent

Ah yes, the aggressive and tiny cinnamon roll.

4 German Shepherd The German Shepherd is a breed of medium to large-sized working dog that originated in Germany. The breed's officially recognized name is German Shepherd Dog in the English language. The breed is known as the Alsatian in Britain and Ireland.

The person who said German Shepherds are more dangerous than a pit bull is totally wrong. German Shepherds are NOT aggressive but like most dogs, they can be trained to be aggressive but only if they're trained as police/security dogs. My German Shepherds were never aggressive. They were intelligent, loving, loyal, kind & gentle. We treated them well & they treated us well. Once you've owned a German Shepherd dog, you'd never want to own any other breed.

I've owned 2 German Shepherd dogs at different stages, both adult dogs when they first came to live with me, and neither of them were aggressive. They never bit nor attacked anyone and they were great with children. However, there are people who are scared of German Shepherds which is ridiculous. Mind you, I would never approach nor touch a German Shepherd dog I didn't know. Treat all dogs with the respect they deserve and they will repay you with love and devotion a gazillion times over.

German Shepherds can be trained to be aggressive but from my experience, they are not naturally aggressive... my German Shepherds were not trained to be aggressive & they never attacked or bit anyone. They're the most intelligent, devoted, loving, loyal dogs in the canine kingdom.

That's only if you don't train them well enough, then they could disobey you and turn aggressive. My tip is to train them early. Do not underestimate this breed, it is very powerful and very intelligent.

5 Doberman Pinscher The Doberman Pinscher, or Dobermann, or Doberman, is a medium-large breed of domestic dog originally developed around 1890 by Karl Friedrich Louis Dobermann, a tax collector from Germany.

If a Rottweiler and a Doberman bred, would they have puppies that look just like them due to the parents having similar coats and patterns?

The Doberman is a tall and confident dog. Its coat is very similar to the rottweiler.

6 Jack Russel Terrier The Jack Russell Terrier is a small terrier that has its origins in fox hunting. It is principally white-bodied and smooth, rough or broken-coated.

They aren't really very aggressive. I have one and he's fine. Yeah, he sometimes snaps, but he's a puppy and still learning. Huskeys and Akitas are way more aggressive.

No this is not true. I had a jack russel he passed sadly. And I still cry to this day thinking about him.

The Husky is a fast and high energy dog breed, it is similar to the Alaskan malmute.

There are friendly dogs in every breed. From what I’ve seen, the Siberian huskies are one of the most caring breed of dog, but because they’re so active, I would watch them around a little kid just to make sure they don’t knock them down by accident.

13 Dachshund The Dachshund is a short-legged, long-bodied, hound-type dog breed with floppy ears, and short fur. Although, this Dog, which comes in a variety of colours, is not hypoallergenic.

I used to like Dachshunds until two attacked my old dog and one tried to rip my cat apart.
They're nasty dogs

14 Alaskan Malamute The Alaskan Malamute is a large breed of domestic dog originally bred for hauling heavy freight because of their strength and endurance, and later a sled dog.

The Alaskan malmute is sled dog just like the husky. The Alaskan malmute has a very similar coat to the husky.

I have a hard time telling these and huskies apart

15 Lhasa Apso The Lhasa Apso is a non-sporting dog breed originating in Tibet. It was bred as an interior sentinel in the Buddhist monasteries, to alert the monks to any intruders who entered.

They are cute but they attack sometimes

I hate this breed.

Bullmastiffs are the best breed of all time

18 Beagle The Beagle is a breed of small-sized hound, similar in appearance to the much larger foxhound. The Beagle is a scent hound, developed primarily for hunting hare.

One time it ripped my eyes out and began skinning me alive. I was screaming as it put a hot iron in my mouth and began melting my mouth. Then he ripped off my face

19 Labrador Retriever The Labrador Retriever, also Labrador, is a sporting dog bred for aquatic game. The Labrador is one of the most popular breeds of dog in the United Kingdom and the United States.

I'm not so sure if this is the right type of dog that I'm talking about, but I'm just gonna post it here. So one day I was walking home from the bus stop, when all of a sudden a black lab dog just came booking it out of his fence and bit me near the waist. I actually had to hide behind a neighbor's car while the neighbors fought it off. There was also this brown dog who was a lot more cowardly than the black one. But after this event, I was TRAUMATIZED. I have cynophobia now.

I have a uncle with a black lab female. She attacked my dog and was very aggressive over a play toy they were using. But she is very sweet towards me and other people, she just struggles with aggression towards other dogs. But generally I'm not fond of labs.

Some Labradors are pretty mean

20 Akita

The Akita is a tall dog that has great hunting skills.

Those things have fat faces..

21 Pekingese

These are just plain yappy and stupid dogs.

22 Pomeranian The Pomeranian is a breed of dog of the Spitz type, named for the Pomerania region in Central Europe. Pomeranian Dogs tend to get sick very often, however.

Don't ever underestimate the small and fluffy dogs.

This little fur-ball is so aggressive!

23 Golden Retriever The Golden Retriever is a large-sized breed of dog bred as gun dogs to retrieve shot waterfowl such as ducks and upland game birds during hunting and shooting parties, and were named 'retriever' because of their ability to retrieve shot game undamaged.

25 Kangal Dog

Maybe but they have to get a hold of it first, you must live in Middle East. Pits will get the neck or belly first, will fight to exhaustion, while kangal bleeds out, that's like fighting a elephant with a lion

These brutes could tear a pit bull in half, they deserve it too
