Mastodon are a joke. Beard metal for block-headed hipsters with short attention spans. Instrumental wanking and over-the-top drumming to account for the fact that they can't write music, and that drunk hick grunting in the background as an excuse for their vocals doesn't help their case much either.

Tool is a supremely overrated and pretentious band, whose dull and boring songs can induce any stable-minded individual to a deep sleep even before listening to half a minute of it.
