Top 10 Albums With a Blue Cover
This list was harder to put together than you might think! Colours are more suggestive things, so I decided to only count albums withOUTSTANDING BLUE ELEMENTS
OR WHO ARE MAINLY BLUE!!!
Also I count all shades of blue!
Me, being an advanced guitarist myself, I can say the holy wars riff is much more impressive than the tornado of souls solo.
Hallowed Be Thy Name alone can win a spot in the Top 10, but some other great songs are also on this album: Run to the Hills, 22 Acacia Avenue, The Number of the Beast.
Hallowed Be Thy Name along with The Number of the Beast, 22 Acacia Avenue, Run to the Hills and The Prisoner makes this album one of the best I've ever heard.
Fun Fact: The blue is actually supposed to be Gray but a printing error caused it to be blue on remastered versions they fixed the blue background
Timeless classic, the best Deep Purple album with hits like Highway Star and Smoke On the Water, and amazing songs like Pictures Of Home and Lazy. A very diverse album with excellent songs for every mood and preferences - speed metal, hard rock, blues rock.Pictures Of Home isn't a well known song but it's awesome, too - it has 2 guitar solos, one bass solo, one keyboard solo and a cool drum intro. All these things are organically connected and don't sound like patches. Besides, the song has a great riff, rhythm, melody and vox.
I find this album cover to be more Purple than Blue
An essential power metal album, also one of the best concept albums out there. Hansi Kürsch is an incredible singer. Songs - Nightfall, Into The Storm, Thorn, Mirror Mirror, Time Stands Still (At The Iron Hill), The Curse Of Feanor. The cover represents Lúthien dancing in front of Morgoth - so beautiful and dark at the same time.
My favourite on this list! Absolutely no bad songs. Love the cover very much. It fits the albums concept. Which is also one of the best of all time.
This album is so epic man. No bad songs on it but my favorites are: Sacred Worlds, Ride Into Obsession, Wheel Of Time, Tanelorn (Into The Void), A Voice In The Dark. And the album cover is fantastic, too (by the way, I think the image sample here is kinda blackened).
A critically acclaimed album with a very beautiful album cover, too.
An album with one of the best singers on this list, very well written songs, cool riffs, etc. I agree with IronSabbathPriest - my favorite songs are also Damien and Dracula. Guys, you have to hear this powerful voice, I really mean powerful.
Often regarded as the best IE album. Every song is about some horror story or person. Song examples include Dracula, The Phantom Opera Ghost, Damien (from The Omen) etc.
The Bard's Song, Time What is Time, Journey Through The Dark
