8 Beyond the Red Mirror - Blind Guardian

It has 2 official versions, no misprints. The original is blue with a red mirror (what you see here).
The alternative cover is mostly red - it depicts the same mirror from the original but from a different angle and the mirror is zoomed. Some fans liked better the alternative red version, some others - the original. I liked them both and most importantly - the music on the album (2015).

9 Virgin Killer - Scorpions

I think they have too much interest to show these kinds of things. They have more than one.

Go ahead, I dare you to show the original version of the cover.

10 Killing is My Business… and Business is Good - Megadeth

The one shown here is the remastered version of the album the original didn't have the same Megadeth logo and the original used a plastic skull instead of a drawing

12 Worship Music - Anthrax

13 Yesterday and Today - The Beatles

The most famous panicked album cover revision in history resulted from original "Butcher Block" photo, but it somehow got neglected on this list?

14 Screaming for Vengance - Judas Priest

The 30th anniversary edition has a golden brown cover. The original being yellow.

15 Electric Ladyland - Jimi Hendrix

The cover you see is the North American cover. The European cover shows a gatefold of nude women, which Jimi himself despised. In France, Barclay Records (who handled his catalog there) created yet another design showing the inside of Jimi's expanded mind.

16 Out of Our Heads - The Rolling Stones

The UK version shows a photograph of the band standing in front of a narrow alley. The US version used a completely different photograph. They later adapted the British artwork for the album December's Children (And Everybody's).

17 Boy - U2

The picture you see is the UK version, which features Peter Rowan (a brother of one of Bono's friends) on the cover, shirtless. The North American department of Island Records, however, thought that the cover suggested pedophilia, so they changed it to a distorted picture of the band. The artwork was standardized to the UK version in 2008.
