Best Albums of All Time
The Contenders: Page 5
So many good songs.
Are you kidding me, one of the best vinyl's in terms of guitar riffs. Deserves the top 50 at least I mean there's not even a bad song on hereV 1 Comment
Has some of my favourite songs from my favourite band with some of the best drumming and guitar they've played a7x foREVer
Every song on this album is enough for the top spot. It has been extremely underrated by this poll, it seems no one has properly functioning ears.
This album almost make me like a beast! This album just like the symbol of "GO TO DEATH"
I'm not into Pink Floyd, it's good, I just don't like it, this is my favorite band ever. - EliHbkV 6 Comments
This album deserves to be higher, I have heard this album too many times and I still don't get enough, it's very good. (even though Absolution is my favorite Muse album =P)
Easily the most creative, progressive and well structured album of all time. Each song tackles serious and occasionally taboo issues (megalomania) with a sense of imagination. It also helps that this is probably the fan favourite album and also had the best critical reception of all their albums. Apart from that one critic that gave it one star. Well done mate!
So good I downloaded it on itunes and still went out and bought the CD, just in case my computer wiped it or something
You know, I think this album is ahhh pretty good. Definitely should ahh a little bit higher umm and um I guess that's all I got folks. I guess, its ahh time for me to leave now, so umm I guess yeah that's all I got. Time to go eat some gnarly barleyV 6 Comments
Should be in the top ten! Every single song on this album is incredible and beautifully written. Clocks, politik, god put a smile upon your face, are all amazing but then again so is everything else on the album. It really shows Coldplay's true talent and versatility with each song. Incredible album
A lot of the albums above this, they just have two or three standout songs. This should be in the top ten because every track is a classic and is worth listening to.
Coldplay's most distinctive album, not just because of the made for radio hits (Clocks and The Scientist) but more importantly the more artistic statements made through the title track and Amsterdam. The best top to bottom album the group made.
Why is this so low?!V 10 Comments
Only got this like two months ago. One of the best buys I've ever ever gotten before. Its pure brilliance. - mangomorse
An album like this being so low shows me how much good music there must be
This is the most hated album of the band, but it's the best. Just listen with good headphones, the lyrics are fantastic, the sound is innovative and complex. The conception of nuclear war is genius, listen songs like The Catalyst (my favorite of all the songs from all artists) Iridescent, Waiting For the End. Linkin Park fans unfortunately do not value this masterpiece, the best job of band. This deserves better placement, I vote for A Thousand Suns.
This NEEDs to be at the top. It's a smart album for once in music history. a smart BAND for once in music history - MaddSpazz
This a garbage album, one of the worst LP has done. Horrible songwriting, production, vocals, everything about this album is horrendous. - SatireV 4 Comments
My favorite Maiden album from the 80's, it is their most consistently good work in my opinion, every song on it is worth listening to. Especially The Evil That Men Do and Infinite Dreams.
This whole album is just a damn journey to a place far away! Very underrated!
I love lots of MAIDENS songs but most of all The evil that men do
Masterpiece of an album.V 4 Comments
Prince has to be the most talented guy ever. If Sign O' The Times was on this list I would've voted for that one but Purple Rain is still an excellent album. I love every single song, but my favorite off this album is The Beautiful Ones, the way he screams in that song always gives me chills and makes me wish I could have the voice to sing with the passion and raw sexual energy that he had! He's my favorite artist ever.
Let's Go Crazy, The Beautiful Ones, Darlin Nikki, I Would Die 4 U, Baby I'm A Star, WHEN DOVES CRY, and PURPLE RAIN
The peak of the 80's had it all: rock. pop, funk, ballads, & originality... also it's the reason we have Parental Advisory warnings - dignan

28 million records baby! Deserves to be in the top 10! People have only heard prayer, bad name and dead or alive, which are their masterpieces! But when you hear the whole album including Never say goodbye, Raise your hands, I'd die for you and wild in the streets, you will understand how truly amazing this album is! It was due to this album Bon Jovi became famous and till today in 2012, have maintained their popularity! They got a younger fan base with Crush and an country rock fan base with Lost Highway! Incredible!
Slippery When Wet defined the 80's! Bon Jovi's career at this time was in full swing as many other bands were as well but unlike the "others" listed above Bon Jovi did not follow the downward spiral of "sex, drugs and rockn'roll" no instead they chose a path of example and inspiration. For these reasons and many others this album certainly deserves more credit than it is receiving here. It represents not only an entire album of unforgettable music and lyrics that defined a generation.
has some of the best rock anthems on this album - Living on a prayer, wanted dead or alive, yglabn and nothing left to say. The only ones that deserve to be in this top ten are MJ, Queen, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and Metallica - idolangelx13
The greatest band, till now this band still exist and still show in the world
This band should be in 3 the greatest band all the time
By far the best album made in the 21st century. (The international version, that is).
I really can't describe what's so good about the album, it's just that it is awesome from the first to the last song. Short and intense!
Needs to be way higher... Such an amazing album with a brilliant, unique sound
Its Bob Dylan Blood On The Tracks for Pete's sake! 94? - backflip

Wondering if she'd changed at all, if her hair was still red...
Give it a listen. this is the favorite album of many dylan fans(inculding me) - RecklessGreedV 3 Comments
This is one of the best albums ever. The best songs on this album would be: Exit Wounds because I love the Guitar at the end, You Won't Fell a Thing because the instrumental at the start is a great start to the album. I also love 3. Nothing because it was one of the first songs I knew by the band and I've always loved it. Finaly another one I've always loved "Science and Faith" - biddiebob99
By far the greatest album ever released. The amount of classics on here is unbelievable. Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova, Don't Look Back In Anger, Some Might Say, Roll With It, the list goes on!
175? What the hell? Not a single weak track, wonderwall, don't look back in anger, champagne supernova, morning glory, she's electric, the master plan (b side) what stunning songs!
Some amazing songs in this album!
All killer, no fillerV 8 Comments
Of all if the great Led Zeppelin albums, this is the best. Just so many classic songs! Good Times Bad Times, Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You, Communication Breakdown, Dazed and Confused, pretty much every track on this album is great. Also, this is the best debut album ever.
Led Zeppelin's first through sixth album are the most consistantly brilliant string of rock albums ever made, surpassing the Beatles and Stones easily. Any one of them could top this list. - bobby
This album is it. This is the greatest Rock and Blues album ever.
this is WORTH OF YOUR TIME to listen toV 1 Comment
Alright. I am very confused as to why the doors are way down at number 39. Honestly people, do you really prefer shania twain and Linkin Park? This is ridiculous. The Doors album, The Doors is probably the single best debut albums for a band ever. Every song has it's own little twist and every song is absolutely in every way a piece of art.
"If the doors of perception were cleansed everything would appear to man as it is, infinite. " How Jim coined their name. This band is indefinitely one of the most important bands earth has ever experienced, and honestly should not be this low on the list.
36 as a position for this sheer masterpiece is justification that humans have totally lost touch in music. But then again, you have to be at Jim's level to understand.
One if the greatest bands of all time with the greatest keyboardist in rock, the most underrated drummer in rock, and the most inventive jazz guitarist in rock. Honestly they only have one kinda bad album in their discography and it isn't even that bad. It's criminal that this band is this low.
The fact that people think there are 98 albums better than this one is alarming. "Light My Fire", "Break on Through", "The Crystal Ship", "The End", and "Soul Kitchen". The album is one of the greatest.V 11 Comments
Everyone says OK Computer is their best, but I love The Bends. "Every" song is masterpiece. - sunsnasher
This needs to be up higher, at least in the Top 25, cause this is Readioheads best Album! - Lauda123V 1 Comment
