Best Alternative Pop Songs

This list is not a list of best alternative rock, pop rock or alternative metal songs, but of alternative pop.

Now you could ask me what exactly is Alternative Pop. I am pretty sure that you won't find anything out there (on Google or Wikipedia) about alternative pop. Recently I found some songs which are neither alternative rock nor pop rock. It's mixture of two genres, and I considered those songs as alternative pop. Because the musical style of those songs are alternative, but those songs are full of pop (pop-rock) elements. So alternative pop is a genre that is mixture of alternative music and pop elements. Alternative pop is softer than alternative rock but heavier than pop rock. Alternative pop is not like pop music.
