I am not a vegan however I find it funny how people talk about how much they love eating cows, chickens, and pigs yet think it is pure evil for people to eat dog meat. Pigs are almost if not just as intelligent as dogs and are omnivores like them too yet are slaughtered in the millions to end on people’s plates. Same thing goes with cows and chickens which people only see as food instead of sentient creatures that could feel pain and nobody cares if they are slaughtered inhumanly. Frankly, I personally would not eat dog meat myself however in times of famine or for traditional or religious reasons I would have no problem with people who eat it. Some dogs are raised for eating just like some pigs or chickens are raised as pets and are never eaten. I dislike the dog meat festivals in China though since the animals are often mistreated but I wouldn’t mind it if only these animal were humanely killed and I hate it when people use this to be racist against the Chinese and Asians in ...more
