Top 10 Animals You Shouldn't Kill

Here's a list of animals/insects you shouldn't kill. They're great animals/insects. Killing them is beyond wrong. Feel free to add more animals/insects in this list. All opinions are welcome.
The Top Ten
1 Bees

Bees are actually kind to us, only stinging us when we annoy them at work! Unfortunately though everybody seems to mistake them for having the same horrible mentality as a certain other bastard, and so that's why we repay them for their hard work keeping the environment alive this way! Love and tolerate the poor guys and give them a break please!

Bees are extremely important. You shouldn't kill them because they pollinate and help in our world. They also make great and tasty honey. We are already at risk as of now. There's barely any bees, nowadays. Many careless people seem to not care about bees. Without them, it won't be good at all. We need them. Leave the bees alone.

These creatures are arguably the most crucial part of nature. If only people could stop carrying only about money and do something good for their environment.

I’m not a big fan of insects, but I think bees are cool. They produce honey and they are very peaceful, unless you bother them. Then why should you even try to kill them? They may be scary and annoying to some people, but they don’t do anything to you as long as you leave them alone. They are very useful for pollinating plants.

2 Dogs The dog or domestic dog (Canis familiaris or Canis lupus familiaris) is a domesticated descendant of the wolf, and is characterized by an upturning tail. The dog is derived from an ancient, extinct wolf, and the modern wolf is the dog's nearest living relative. The dog was the first species to be domesticated, by hunter–gatherers over 15,000 years ago, before the development of agriculture. Due to their long association with humans, dogs have expanded to a large number of domestic individuals and gained the ability to thrive on a starch-rich diet that would be inadequate for other canids. ...read more.

Dogs are usually cool. Some races are better than others, but people shouldn't be allowed to kill them. Many of them are great. The master is what makes the dog good or bad. They can also help save lives if trained well. Most dogs are naturally good and harmless. Just blame the masters.

The only circumstances I know that a dog gets killed is when they are aggressive and don’t stop attacking people. Not all dogs are bad though. Most are very loyal and playful. Just raise a dog in the right way and they don’t become aggressive and obnoxious. Some dogs can’t help it, because their owners made them like that. Some dogs have a guardian instinct which is normal and natural for them. Since dogs are friendly and loyal animals, you shouldn’t kill them. Animal abusers who kill dogs should be bitten by dogs as a revenge for the dogs.

Dogs are man's best friend, you should not betray your best friend!

Dogs are the best they shouldn't be killed

3 Turtles Turtles are an order of reptiles known as Testudines, characterized by a shell developed mainly from their ribs. Modern turtles are divided into two major groups, the side-necked turtles and hidden neck turtles, which differ in the way the head retracts. There are 360 living and recently extinct species of turtles, including land-dwelling tortoises and freshwater terrapins. They are found on most continents, some islands and, in the case of sea turtles, much of the ocean. Like other reptiles, birds, and mammals, they breathe air and do not lay eggs underwater, although many species live in or around water. Genetic evidence typically places them in close relation to crocodilians and birds. ...read more.

Turtles are great. They're really cool and very unique. Those animals are also extremely rare in this world, nowadays. People shouldn't be allowed to kill them. They're harmless and really cool. Don't kill them.

Actually not all turtles are harmless. Snapping turtles can bite your fingers off when they feel threatened.

I know someone who has a pet turtle, not gonna lie.

Well, don't kill a turtle.

4 Butterflies Butterflies are part of the class of insects in the order Lepidoptera, along with the moths. Adult butterflies have large, often brightly coloured wings, and conspicuous, fluttering flight.

Butterflies look beautiful and they are very harmless. Why would you kill one? Only animal haters would probably try to kill one. Haters aside, I love to see butterflies in my backyard.

Butterflies are cool and innocent. They're really harmless and they don't cause anything bad. They also look great. It's would be pretty stupid to kill them. They don't do anything wrong.

Butterflies are beautiful insects. I don't know why would someone kill them.

Butterflies are nice I wouldn't kill them, I may of have once or twice

5 Sloths Sloths are mammals classified in the families Megalonychidae and Bradypodidae, including six extant species. Noted for their slowness of movement, they spend most of their lives hanging upside down in the trees of the tropical rainforests of South America and Central America.

Come on, these adorable creatures are dying because of deforestation, wild dogs and poachers, and they are very important for the ecosystem. Killing a sloth could cause thousands of other living things (most of which aren’t bigger than a fingernail) so it should be higher than 4th

Cool animals that are being affected by deforestation.

6 Horses

Horse meat should be illegal around the world. Eat meat from any other farm animal.

I heard of someone kill a horse for no reason that was upsetting

7 Cats The cat (Felis catus) is a domestic species of small carnivorous mammal.
It is the only domesticated species in the family Felidae and is often referred to as the domestic cat to distinguish it from the wild members of the family. A cat can either be a house cat, a farm cat or a feral cat; the latter ranges freely and avoids human contact.

Domestic cats are valued by humans for companionship and their ability to kill rodents. About 60 cat breeds are recognized by various cat registries. ...read more.

Yes, cats may be cute, and of course it's common sense to not kill them generally, but you should be also aware of certain animals like these that are aggressive in nature, especially in the wild. Just because someone kills an animal, doesn't "always" mean they are cruel or wrong, except for animal abusers in general. Especially when it comes to different situations, some people (such as hunters) do it for the sake of animal control as some countries have a huge problem between wildlife. Let's take this example in Australia, an example for this problem and unfortunately a huge problem for wildlife -- hundreds of thousands feral cats in there tend to kill up to millions of native animals each year. While they are cute, but don't let this deceive you; they are aggressive predators when unleashed in the wild. Which makes it necessary to kill certain animals that are a threat to the ecosystem; feral cats are a prime example of this. The vast majority would disagree, but this has to be ...more

I really don't understand the 'annoying' comments, how is banging on the trash can behind the gate repeatedly solely for you walking on the street not 'annoying'? Or how is barking repeatedly for 12 hours straight that can be even heard in the next street not considered 'annoying' either?

I'm not against dogs but on this site they are treated like each of them was a flawless godly being and every cat was a greedy beast. I live in a small town where more people keep dogs for houseguarding than as actual pets, maybe that's why I think like this.

Some people treat cats extremely badly and even kick threw them outside from their homes. There's a lot of wild, homeless cats around. Some cats even died because of the cold during winter time. Cats aren't that bad and it's rude to kill them directly or indirectly. This is coming from someone who isn't a fan of cats.

Noooo! Why would anyone want to kill a cat? I have seen too many dead cats on the sidewalk hit by cars, and it would break my heart to see cats killed just because they do what they do (instincts.) Cats have a special place in my heart, and it would be shattered to find out that people kill cats for stupid reasons!

8 Porcupine Porcupines are rodentian mammals with a coat of sharp spines, or quills, that protect against predators.
9 Toads

Toads are really cool. It's fun to see them jump around or hang around. It's also kind of funny to tickle them with a piece of grass, it makes them move/jump. They're great animals. They also eat certain unwanted bugs. Killing them is a really stupid and mean thing to do.

Toads are amazing and they definitely should never be killed. I have had four pet toads in the past and they were amazing pets. Never never kill toads, or else risk my wrath

These guys are cool, they eat Mosquitos.

they are kinda cool

10 Elephants African elephants are elephants of the genus Loxodonta. The genus consists of two extant species: the African bush elephant, L. africana, and the smaller African forest elephant, L. cyclotis.

It's illegal to kill elephants.

The Contenders
11 Whales

There's places where whales are killed, some whale species are endangered.

12 Bald Eagles The bald eagle is a bird of prey found in North America. A sea eagle, it has two known subspecies and forms a species pair with the white-tailed eagle.

It's kinda illegal

Bald eagles would be bad to kill I would never kill a bald eagle

13 Humans Humans (Homo sapiens) are the most abundant and widespread species of primate, characterized by bipedalism and large, complex brains. This has enabled the development of advanced tools, culture, and language. Humans are highly social and tend to live in complex social structures composed of many cooperating and competing groups, from families and kinship networks to political states. Social interactions between humans have established a wide variety of values, social norms, and rituals, which bolster human society. Curiosity and the human desire to understand and influence the environment and to explain and manipulate phenomena have motivated humanity's development of science, philosophy, mythology, ...read more.

Without us the endangered animals will be gone.

That would be called murdering.

14 Tigers The tiger (Panthera tigris) is the largest living cat species and a member of the genus Panthera. It is most recognisable for its dark vertical stripes on orange fur with a white underside. An apex predator, it primarily preys on ungulates such as deer and wild boar. It is territorial and generally a solitary but social predator, requiring large contiguous areas of habitat, which support its requirements for prey and rearing of its offspring. Tiger cubs stay with their mother for about two years, then become independent and leave their mother's home range to establish their own. ...read more.
15 Crab Crabs are decapod crustaceans of the infraorder Brachyura, which typically have a very short projecting "tail", usually entirely hidden under the thorax.
16 Armadillo
17 Rhinoceroses

Rhinos are cool, yeah they're agressive but that's their way of fighting predators and people like their horn because they need rhino horns to make them smarter because they're plain stupid.

They are endangered

okay look there are two individuals and scientists are using Southern White Rhinos to bring them back. If they died the Northern White Rhinos say goodbye

18 Lizards

Lizards are pretty cool animals, in general. Some of them are dangerous and some are not. If they're dangerous or poisonous, it's best to stay away from them. They even eat annoying bugs. Killing lizards isn't cool, at all.

Lizards are pretty cool animals, they're actually pretty useful too and they eat pests in your house.

If I had a pet lizard, I would let it eat all of the mosquitoes.

19 Monkeys Monkeys are haplorhine primates, a paraphyletic group generally possessing tails and consisting of approximately 260 known living species.

I saw people on the internet wanting to kill them! Like why? They do help the ecosystem too.

Why would anyone want to kill a monkey.

20 Sharks Sharks are a group of elasmobranch fish characterized by a cartilaginous skeleton, five to seven gill slits on the sides of the head, and pectoral fins that are not fused to the head. Modern sharks are classified within the clade Selachimorpha (or Selachii) and are the sister group to the rays. However, the term "shark" has also been (incorrectly) used to refer to extinct members of the subclass Elasmobranchii, which are technically outside the Selachimorpha clade. Notable examples of improper classification include Cladoselache, and various other members of the Chondrichthyes class like the holocephalid eugenedontidans.

Sharks don't even attack humans that much, they attack fish way more often and it's normal because sharks help to balance the population of the fish. This whole "fin soup" is stupid.

These been being killed for years! just for what?! We don't use their skin, the teeth we could just find (they lose teeth a lot because they grow new ones), like we don't use it to surive so like what the h*

21 Lobster Lobsters comprise a family of large marine crustaceans. Lobsters have long bodies with muscular tails, and live in crevices or burrows on the sea floor.
22 Mosquitoes Spanish for "small fly," mosquitoes are insects that have been known to cause various diseases. A sample of diseases caused by mosquitoes: malaria, yellow fever, Chikungunya, West Nile virus, dengue fever, filariasis, Zika virus.

They deserve to die. They carry diseases and cause pain. Whoever added this item on here needs to learn that those pests objectively bad. They make flies seem elite in comparison.

They spread diseases and they sting people intentionally. They also make a grating sound. They deserve to be killed, troll item or not.

They carried Zika and West Nile, they need to be killed. What happens if these pesky skeeters carries coronavirus? We'll be doomed if this ever happens!

23 Ravens

Ravens are cool, big black birds who are fun to see. They're unique unlike the typical birds. You shouldn't kill them.

I had a friend when I was a kid who wanted to kill a bird like a raven and eat it, but he never did since the raven always flew away too fast, if he did kill the raven that would of been bad

24 Snakes Snakes are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of the suborder Serpentes that can be distinguished from legless lizards by their lack of eyelids and external ears.

Many people seem to hate snakes because they're poisonous or really weird looking/scary, but they actually look good. There's plenty of snakes that aren't poisonous. They can be cool as well. People shouldn't kill them, to be honest.

A lot of them are poisonous and stuff but they look cool, snakes generally avoid people so you shouldn't be scared of them.

Some of them are very poisonous and dangerous, but they look undeniably cool.

25 Parrots Parrots, also known as psittacines, are birds of the roughly 393 species in 92 genera that make up the order Psittaciformes, found in most tropical and subtropical regions.

Parrots can be repetitive and sometimes annoying, but they can actually be really cool and even hilarious. Many people seem to like parrots. They're extremely harmless birds and they looks very good and pretty colorful. It would be very cruel to kill them.
