1 Cat Cat The "House Cat", also known as the Domestic Cat or the Feral Cat, is a small feline, a good hunter, and comes in a variety of colours and fur patterns. Contrary to popular belief, however, they are not truly domesticated.

Cats are absolutely amazing animals. Furry, cute, and fun to play with, I don't see anything wrong with them. - SwagFlicks

I am an honest believer that without cats, mankind would have destroyed itself.

2 Dolphin Dolphin Dolphins are a widely distributed and diverse group of fully aquatic marine mammals. They are an informal grouping within the order Cetacea, excluding whales and porpoises, so to zoologists the grouping is paraphyletic.

Dolphins are always seen as the shark's nicer counterpart. So people hate sharks and love dolphins. I'm fine with loving dolphins, but don't hate sharks. Swimming with dolphins, dolphin feeding, dolphin watching. Who wants to try these things? I do!

I love them!

Love them

I like dolphins, (especially derp like ones)...

But I don't like the part where they attack you when you hurt them...i saw a few videos of that and gawd...the people must be in the hospital right now...

PS:i watch nat. geo that's why I know dis ;D

5 Dog Dog Domesticated house hold pets that have evolved from wolves . They are sometimes bred with other species of wolves or dogs to create desirable purebreds or a new species of dogs.

Their genome sequence shows dogs did NOT "evolve" from wolves, and are believed to be an older species.

6 Rabbit Rabbit Rabbits are small mammals in the family Leporidae of the order Lagomorpha, found in several parts of the world.
7 Horse Horse The horse is one of two extant subspecies of Equus ferus. It is an odd-toed ungulate mammal belonging to the taxonomic family Equidae, and can be tamed, bred, and trained, as a mount.

This is a pretty odd one to be on the list if you've read Black Beauty. Horses are some of the most mistreated and over-worked animals in the world. Just ask Ginger (from Black Beauty).

One could as easily say horses are among the most loved, revered, and even pampered animals in the world, and that they love to and in fact need to work. Some people believe that engaging any animal to serve any human purpose is "mistreatment" and "abuse," no matter how healthy and fulfilling it may be for the animal. Such people have...issues.

My guess on why its not in the top 5 its because...
that people thought horses are related to ponies...(note: Ponies don't exist)

But man, don't let MLP ruin this beautiful creature

8 Parrot Parrot Parrots, also known as psittacines, are birds of the roughly 393 species in 92 genera that make up the order Psittaciformes, found in most tropical and subtropical regions.
9 Koala Koala The koala is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. It is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats.

11 Wolf Wolf Often in/from packs, Wolves are carnivorous Canines that come in various colours and breeds, and have evolved to Dogs. Some breeds of Wolves are, like Dogs, domesticated, to become a Working Dog.

Majestic.

There are 37 species of fox but only 12 are considered true Vulpes. A foxes main prey are birds, fish, berries, insects, and rabbits. Some of the best known species ...read more.

Foxes are awesome.

What's a fox say?

I LOAF FOXES!

13 Snake Snake Snakes are elongated, legless, carnivorous reptiles of the suborder Serpentes that can be distinguished from legless lizards by their lack of eyelids and external ears. About 600 species are venomous, some of which can be fatal to humans if no medical help is sought.

Snakes can also be helpful when controlling rodent pest populations.

"Why did it have to be snakes? "

I don't hate snakes, it's more that I'm indifferent towards them. - SwagFlicks

14 Crow

16 Platypus Platypus The platypus, also known as the duck-billed platypus, is a semiaquatic egg-laying mammal endemic to eastern Australia, including Tasmania.
17 Cheetah Cheetah The cheetah, also known as the hunting leopard, is a big cat that occurs mainly in eastern and southern Africa and a few parts of Iran. The cheetah is the fastest land animal, able to run up to 75 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 3 seconds
18 Beaver Beaver The beaver is a primarily nocturnal, large, semiaquatic rodent. Castor includes two extant species, the North American beaver and Eurasian beaver. Beavers are known for building dams, canals, and lodges.
19 Hyena Hyena Hyenas or hyaenas are any feliform carnivoran mammals of the family Hyaenidae /haɪˈɛnᵻdiː/. With only four extant species, it is the fifth-smallest biological family in the Carnivora, and one of the smallest in the class Mammalia.

I wish hyenas have gotten a better reputation. If it weren't for that awful movie The Lion King and all of it's characters, people would see them for who they really are.

At least there are still people who see hyenas as what they are and not the evil villains depicted in that overrated movie.

20 Butterfly Butterfly Butterflies are part of the class of insects in the order Lepidoptera, along with the moths. Adult butterflies have large, often brightly coloured wings, and conspicuous, fluttering flight.
