1 The Simpsons The Simpsons is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening that originally started on April 19, 1987 as shorts on The Tracey Ullman Show. It got its own series on December 17, 1989 and is still running as of 2023, making it the longest running animated sitcom. It is about a man named Homer Simpson and his family (wife Marge and children Bart, Lisa and Maggie and pets, Snowball II and Santa's Little Helper) going through a long series of misadventures.

What can be said about The Simpson's that hasn't been said a thousand times, considered to be one of the most influential T.V. shows of all time and they've literally done pretty much everything.

2 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987

I love teenage mutant ninja turtles Leonardo is my favorite ninja turtle I loved the toys the comic books the video games and the cartoon show I always noticed that their favorite food is pizza and it makes 'em strong after when they train their ninja skills they are mighty ninja warriors that fight evil and it's my other favorite eighties cartoon show it's really cool

While the show hasn't aged very well in recent years The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were a phenomenon with it's main characters Leonardo, Michaelangelo, Donatello and Raphael as they battle the dreaded Shredder, Krang and the foot soldiers who constantly wreck havoc on the city.

3 DuckTales DuckTales is an American animated television series produced by Walt Disney Television Animation. It premiered on September 18, 1987 and ended on November 28, 1990 with a total of four seasons and 100 episodes.
4 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable character virtues such as teamwork, loyalty, and trustworthiness.

One of the most action packed anime.

5 Thundercats ThunderCats is an American animated series based on a group of cat-like humanoid aliens. The show was created by Tobin "Ted" Wolf and animated by Japanese animation studio Pacific Animation Corporation.
6 Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers

Another really great cartoon series from Disney staring Chip and Dale who originally appeared in a lot of the old Disney shorts part of a group of detectives along with Monterey Jack, Gadget and Zipper as they go on missions solving cases, stopping villains or getting into crazy situations.
