Top Ten Animated Shows That Had Short Runs

The World Of Animation is full of greatness! There's a lot of great animated shows out there! Unfortunately, the majority of those shows received a cancellation or got ended. Lately, Television has lost most of their most amazing shows. They're running out of good shows. It's very sad. The majority of these items on this list is superhero shows. What? I love them!
The Top Ten
1 Batman Beyond (1999-2001) Batman Beyond is an American animated television series developed by Bruce Timm, Paul Dini, and Alan Burnett and produced by Warner Bros.

Sorry to the fans of this show, but it's not even close on beating the successful show known as "Batman: The Animated Series". But, it was still very well done. I just love that they did a show about the future BATMAN!

2 Invader Zim (2001-2002, 2006) Invader Zim is an American animated television series created by Jhonen Vasquez for Nickelodeon. The series centers on an extraterrestrial named Zim from the planet Irk, and his mission to conquer Earth and enslave the human race along with his malfunctioning robot servant GIR.

Despite it's extremely short air time, it is still remembered and it's fan base is STILL growing! Really Nick? Low ratings from the target audience? It deserves to air again.

It got cancelled after a year of its premiere and it ended 3-4 years later after its return on T.V.. I'm not a fan of this show, but I knew CartoonsGirl would love to see this on this list and I thought it ended too early.

In 2006, Invader Zim revived after it got cancelled in 2002, but then it got cancelled.

3 The Spectacular Spider-Man (2008-2009) The Spectacular Spider-Man is an American animated television series based on the superhero character published by Marvel Comics and developed for television by Greg Weisman and Victor Cook.

This series was on air for only a year! I didn't get their 3rd season. Seriously, this is one of the best animated series I have ever seen! I'm begging you Marvel! Please, work with Sony and bring this show back for its third season!

4 Young Justice (2010-2013) Young Justice is an American animated television series developed by Brandon Vietti and Greg Weisman for Cartoon Network.

Do I need to explain?!

5 Teen Titans (2003-2006) Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.

3 years isn't enough for an amazing show like "Teen Titans".

6 Danny Phantom (2004-2007) Danny Phantom is an American animated series created by Butch Hartman for Nickelodeon. It was produced by Billionfold Studios and distributed in Canada by Nelvana, a Canadian animation company. The series follows a teenage boy who, after an accident with an unpredictable portal between the human world and the "Ghost Zone", becomes a human-ghost hybrid and takes on the task of saving his town (and the world) from subsequent ghost attacks using an evolving variety of supernatural powers. He is aided in his quest by his two best friends, and later, his older sister, who for most of the series' run are among the only people who know of his double life.

4 Years is still ain't enough for an awesome show like this! I'm starting to think that this series ended so that Butch can focus on The "Fairly Odd Parents".

7 Green Lantern: The Animated Series (2012-2013)

It's GREEN LANTERN! Do I need to say more?

Created by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Bill Lawrence, the show is set in a high school populated by clones of famous historical figures like Abraham Lincoln, Cleopatra, and Gandhi. The series combines elements of teen drama and comedy, providing a satirical take on both genres. Despite its short run, Clone High has gained a cult following and is praised for its clever writing, unique premise, and memorable characters.
The Contenders
11 Futurama (1999-2003, 2008-2013) Futurama is an American animated science fiction sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company.

It received a cancellation then it returned to Comedy Central and then it got ended! That just proves how some networks can't handle their shows properly. That's just my opinion

12 Daria (1997-2001)
13 Detention (1999-2000)
14 Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends (2004-2009) Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is an American animated television series created by Craig McCracken for Cartoon Network Studios.
15 Wolverine and the X-Men (2009-2009) Wolverine and the X-Men is a 2009 American animated series by Marvel Animation. It is the fourth of five animated adaptations of the X-Men characters, the other four being Pryde of the X-Men, X-Men: The Animated Series, X-Men: Evolution, and an anime adaptation known simply as X-Men.

I was never a fan of the show. Neither of the "X-Men" franchise. But It seems very interesting and maybe when I got time in the future, I'll probably watch a couple of episodes of this show.
