Top 10 Anime of 2016

The Top Ten

1 Boku Dake ga Inai Machi

Best story out of 2016. Best MC of 2016. Short, well paced and had me wanting to see the next episode at the end of each episode.

2 Ajin: Demi-Human Ajin: Demi-Human

Some of these shows on this list haven't even premiered in 2016. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

This is my life.. - TiffanyHwang

Ajin is one of my favorites now. I watched all of the episodes on Nerflix and now I'm waiting for the second season.

3 Yuri!!! On Ice

A breathtaking anime with beautiful animation and an inspiring story. - RebeccaDarking

This show is the magic of 2016

Amazing. Funny. Yaoi I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS ANIME but the fact that this only has 12 episodes is bad... But well the whole story can fit into 12 episodes

Yuuri and Viktor are shown to truly love each other, and their relationship is portrayed in a good light. Add the fact that both are from countries that still have a bit of a way to go in terms of LGBTQ+ acceptance… amazing. It's also been attracting more people to figure skating, which is great considering it isn't considered quite as exciting anymore. As a figure skating fan and having many friends who are LGBTQ+ (some of them have faced some form of discrimination), I really enjoyed this anime! I hope they make a second season (it looked like they would judging by the last episode)
