The Top Ten
1 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Shaft and Aniplex, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, written by Gen Urobuchi, music by Yuki Kajiura, opening sang by ClariS, ending by Kalafina (sometimes by the seiyuus) and original characters by Ume Aoki.

At first glance, I dismissed this series as not worth watching since it looks like a typical magical girl anime show, a genre that I have never been into. But then I saw how much MLPFan liked it, how TwilightKitsune watched it and praised it, and I saw how many people said that it was actually a dark show, so I decided to give it a try and it was definitely worth it. Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a truly brilliant psychological anime with a deep and gripping story, with amazing characters and really good animation.

When I first watched this anime, I thought it would just another boring Magical Girl anime. I'm so glad I was wrong. This anime completely blew my mind.

Looks like your ordinary cute lil magical girl anime. why would anyone watch this little girl princess crap? MAJOR SPOILER ALERT

watches episode 3

Similar to Puella Magi Madoka Magica, I thought that this show looked really boring, but from what I've heard till now it seems to be a dark psychological anime despite its cutesy appearance, much like the former. Definitely gonna give it a try some time.

People literally don't want to watch this anime because of it's name and how girly it is. It's actually an anime that's really dark when it comes to the story. Don't let the cutesy ballet concept fool you.

3 Kill la Kill Kill la Kill is an anime television series produced by Trigger. In Kill la Kill, Ryuko Matoi transfers to a new high school in order to find her father's murderer.

19 Re:Zero Kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu

I can't believe I actually overestimated this anime. I was actually wanting to watch it based on reviews but when I watched the real deal, then everything about it turned into a mess.

In a top ten list in my country, the character named Rem coming from this anime has beaten a character that has quicky risen to one of the top spots in my favourites list, Osamu Dazai from Bungou Stray Dogs. Ironically it seems like thetoptens community generally hates this Rem.

Should I watch this anime? Everyone on MAL loves it but everyone here hates it. I don't know what to think anymore!
