Well... excluding children's anime like Pokemon, anime isn't really supposed to be meant for children. Sure, there are target demographics for children, but anime can come in many forms intended for different age groups.

Rebecca Lee, mainly referred to as Revy, and sometimes Two Hands, is the main female protagonist of the Black Lagoon series. Nearly all the characters in Black Lagoon are terrible role models, Rock included, and Revy is probably the worst role model out of them.
Considering all the swearing in Black Lagoon, this isn't an anime targeted for children.

Yuno Gasai is the main female protagonist from the anime series "Mirai Nikki" or "Future Diary" published in October 10, 2011. Yuno Gasai is the second dairy owner and is a yandere who kills for Yukki, she owns the Diary of Future Love. She has pink hair tied into two low hanging pigtails with red ribbons. When you have a crush on a boy girls stalk him kill any girl that talk to him until he loves you.
Yuno is basically a yandere, I don't think it needs more explaining.
