Yamcha (ヤムチャ, Yamucha) is a Bandit and a main protagonist in the Dragon Ball manga and in the anime Dragon Ball, and later a supporting protagonist in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super, with a few appearances in Dragon Ball GT. He has black hair and has a scar across his eye and cheek. He was fine in the original Dragon Ball but in DBZ he's just plain useless and barely does anything to help the others.
Matagu is that one side character that they refuse to shove to the side, every time he's on screen it either comes off as totally pointless or just really annoying.

I hated him or her in the new version of Pokemon anime yeah it was a change of pace to see it show up and grab Team Rocket rather than to see them blast off but it got really old very fast it even shows in Kanto I just wish they would just kill it off so we don't have to see anymore of it or at the very least show less of it.
