Top 10 Anime Characters You Would Want to Enroll In the Military

After having a conversation with MontyPython over what anime characters we would want to enroll in the US Army, I decided to make a list about anime characters you would want to enroll in the military. Feel free to add any other suggestions if you'd like!
The Top Ten
1 Esdeath - Akame ga Kill! General Esdeath (simply known as Esdeath) is the secondary antagonist of the manga, Akame Ga Kill!, and the 2014 anime adaptation of the same name.

Move over, Princess Elsa. General Esdeath has true ice powers. Considered to be the strongest soldier in the Empire's army, her Demon's Extract is definitely a formidable Imperial Arms. She can create large icicles, freeze people to death, and her trump card even allows her to freeze time! And her swordsmanship with a rapier shows her she is also physically adept at combat as well. Big bust ain't the only thing the woman has to offer!

2 Erwin Smith - Attack on Titan Erwin Smith is a fictional character in the manga and anime series Attack on Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, created by Hajime Isayama.

Erwin Smith is a commander of the Scout Regiment. With his good leadership and confidence, he would make for a great position as a commander of an army regiment in an Army. This guy was literally the person who recruited Levi in the first place. Without Erwin's determination and serious nature, the Scout Regiment wouldn't be standing as it is now. I would definitely like to have him in the US Army.

I don't wanna die, please

3 Najenda - Akame ga Kill!
4 Motoko Kusanagi - Ghost in the Shell

This female cyborg defies all female tropes in anime. Major Motoko Kusanagi is one heck of a badass and is smart, strong, and good at deduction and hacking! America could sure use her right now! She's got skills with guns and has strong will, an essential part of being useful to the army.

5 Riza Hawkeye - Fullmetal Alchemist Riza Hawkeye is a fictional character from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series and its adaptations created by Hiromu Arakawa.

Just like Motoko Kusanagi, Lieutenant Hawkeye is one of those rare female anime characters that aren't meant for stereotypes and can sure kick some butt. Even as the bodyguard of Roy Mustang, Riza is an excellent sharpshooter and firearms specialist. It would be best for her to be the subordinate of any high-ranking position in the army worthy of her.

6 Lelouch vi Britannia - Code Geass Lelouch Lamperouge, whose real name is Lelouch vi Britannia, is the title character and protagonist of the Sunrise anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.

All hail Lelouch! Not only is he a good leader, but he can also pilot a mecha, use his Geass to hypnotize people into his command, and could even defy the power of God! I'm not sure Light Yagami comes close to that! Lelouch would be a great asset to the US Army if he existed in real life.

7 Saber - Fate/Stay Night Saber is a fictional character from the Japanese visual novel and anime series Fate/stay night by Type-Moon and its prequel, Fate/Zero, by Type-Moon and nitroplus. She is the the Saber-class Servant of Kiritsugu Emiya during the Fourth Holy Grail War in Fate/Zero and the Saber-class Servant of Shirou ...read more.

He accompanies the main protagonists in the second half of season 1. His most notable feature is being "Humanity's strongest".

Now that you think about it, let's get the entire cast of Attack on Titan onto this list.

The most badass I have ever seen

9 Olivier Mira Armstrong - Fullmetal Alchemist (Brotherhood) Olivier Mira Armstrong is a fictional character from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series and its adaptations created by Hiromu Arakawa.

She's great leader with a great sense of military.

10 Roy Mustang - Fullmetal Alchemist Roy Mustang is a fictional character from the Fullmetal Alchemist manga series and its adaptations created by Hiromu Arakawa.

Just watch out when he says my most favorite Roy Mustang one-liner of all time! "SHE CALLS ME A... CUTIE PRETTY LOVELY SEXY HUNKY MANLY ROY! " - Roy Mustang

Him beating down Envy to near death. Enough said.

The Contenders
11 Misato Katsuragi - Evangelion Misato Katsuragi is a fictional character from the Neon Genesis Evangelion franchise created by Gainax.
12 Kallen Stadtfeld / Kõzuki - Code Geass
13 Alucard - Hellsing Alucard is a fictional character and the protagonist and antihero of the Hellsing manga and anime series created by Kouta Hirano.

Alucard: Good work, soldiers. Now, good night.
Do I even need to explain? Alucard is a badass vampire of the Hellsing organization who works to eliminate supernatural forces of the dark at night. With good marksmanship with his.454 Casull and Jackal and abilities far beyond that of an ordinary vampire including regeneration, superhuman athleticism, and level releases, Alucard could eliminate the entire ISIS militia within less than 10 minutes!

14 Kamina - Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann Kamina is a fictional character in the anime series Gurren Lagann, known in Japan as Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, animated by Gainax and co-produced by Aniplex and Konami. It was also directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by veteran playwright Kazuki Nakashima.

Just who the hell do you think Kamina is? Kamina is the mighty badass leader of Team Gurren! With his bravado of his and his ability to boost morale and confidence even in the least manly of men such as Simon, Kamina is just the man you need to lead your army to victory. This dude is the definition of fighting spirit!

15 Mavis Vermilion - Fairy Tail Mavis Vermillion is a character in the anime and manga series "Fairy Tail," created by Hiro Mashima. She is the first Guild Master of the Fairy Tail Guild and is often seen as a symbol of hope and strength for its members. Mavis is recognized for her tactical acumen, often employing intricate strategies to aid her guild in various conflicts. Her child-like appearance belies her age and wisdom, making her an enigmatic figure within the series.

She'll be sure to lead the army into victory every time.

She's called the Fairy Tactician for a reason.

16 Sinon - Sword Art Online Shino Asada is a fictional character who appears in the Sword Art Online series of light novels by Reki Kawahara.

One of the best snipers in anime I have ever seen. Sinon's vision is literally double that of the average human being and can keep her cool in the heat of battle. Whether it's sniping or archery, her marksmanship is nothing to underestimate. Would be perfect for sniping vehicles and tanks harboring terrorists with her PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II anti-material rifle.

17 Jotaro Kujo - Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Jotaro Kujo is a fictional character from the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure manga series created by Hirohiko Araki and is the delinquent protagonist of Stardust Crusaders .
18 Shiro - Deadman Wonderland Shiro is a mysterious and enigmatic character in the anime and manga series Deadman Wonderland. Recognizable by her all-white attire and childlike demeanor, she harbors dark secrets and has a deep connection to the protagonist, Ganta Igarashi. Her dual nature of innocent appearance and violent tendencies adds a sense of unpredictability to the story. Shiro serves as both an ally and an enigma that propels the narrative forward.

Also known as the Wretched Egg, Shiro could go from a happy-go-lucky albino girl to your worst nightmare ever. Possessing the Original Sin as her Branch of Sin, Shiro can regenerate, fly, and manipulate whips of blood to tear enemy soldiers to pieces on the spot! Not to mention she was able to cause a great earthquake that sunk most of Japan as she was trying to use her full power! I think if America treats her just fine, we'll be okay and she could help take out ISIS.

19 Leone - Akame ga Kill!
20 Genos - One Punch Man
21 Kiritsugu Emiya - Fate/Stay Night Kiritsugu Emiya is a fictional character from the Japanese visual novel and anime series Fate/stay night by Type-Moon and its prequel, Fate/Zero, by Type-Moon and nitroplus. He is only mentioned and seen in flashbacks in Fate/stay Night, but is one of the main protagonists of Fate/Zero.

I always thought Kiritsugu Emiya looked KIND of like Spike Spiegel from Cowboy Bebop.

22 Homura Akemi - Puella Magi Madoka Magica Homura Akemi is a fictional character from the 2011 anime series Puella Magi Madoka Magica and its related media.
23 Suzaku Kururugi - Code Geass Suzaku Kururugi is a fictional character in the Sunrise anime series Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion.
