Top 10 Anime Series That People Either Love or Hate

Let's face it. Not everyone is going to love the anime series you love and not everyone is going to hate the anime series you hate. Think of it as different from Top 10 Anime Series That Get Too Much Hate.

The Top Ten

1 Sword Art Online Sword Art Online is a series of Japanese light novels written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by abec. In 2012, it received an anime adaptation produced by A-1 Pictures and the SAO Project, and is directed by Tomohiko Ito . The first season is divided into two arcs known as "Aincrad" and "Fairy Dance". more.

I have long lost my interest in anime but I still stalk Pokemon forums and such. I see A LOT of Sword Art Online fans- as well as Attack on Titan- and they're usually rabid fans. It's sad because I believe that's the biggest turn off to many modern series these days. I don't remember anime fans being as rabid 5, 10, even 15 years ago as they are now. But, it may be due to more social media. You literally can't avoid them in YouTube comments (like, example: why does someone feel the need to bring up anime in a Jenna Marbles comment section? )

Either way, I tend to disassociate myself from those fandoms.

Oh, where do I start? Sword Art Online is essentially treated like Frozen in the anime community, although not as bad as Frozen. Long story short, fans call it the best anime ever, haters call it the worst anime ever. I would go in depth about this anime more, but I'm only here to say that it's loved and hated. If you want to know more about this anime, go look at my Sword Art Online review on Greatest Anime of All Time. Personally, I love this anime. Come at me, Sword Art Online haters. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

This anime I always see people and videos either stating how amazing it is or how awful it is, my group of friends and I are like the only ones who say it's ok, it has flaws but it's not the worse thing in the world.

The hate is well deserved. Let it grow within you. Led by unlikable kid that no one really thinks grows as a character. He fights some vain programmer who basically lets him win because the plot. You'll feel nothing but happiness if these characters were allowed to die. The only solace is that they will never meet outside the game.

2 Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z follows the adventures of Goku who, along with the Z Warriors, defends the Earth against evil. The action adventures are entertaining and reinforce the concept of good versus evil. Dragon Ball Z teaches valuable more.

Greatest Anime of All Time says it all. Being number 1 on the list, it's bound to have a lot of rabid fans and haters on there. To be honest, I actually don't watch Dragon Ball Z. I only praise it for its legacy. On the other hand, fans praise it for nostalgia, fights, characters, and funny moments. While the haters bash it for long transformation sequences, fillers, and the fans being nostalgic as well (Charizard syndrome is probably what they're diagnosing). Other than that, I won't say I love or hate it. I'm just okay with it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

This is my all time favorite series and I love it. I can understand why people hate it though, almost all of my friends hate.

Dragon Ball Z is a legendary show. Every legend has haters, but the number of love from fans always overweigh the hate, some of which is really baseless

Grew up on this show man

3 Naruto Naruto is an anime and manga franchise Naruto, created by Masashi Kishimoto. The manga was later adapted into a television anime, which was produced by Studio Pierrot and Aniplex. It premiered across Japan on the terrestrial TV Tokyo and other TX Network stations on October 3, 2002. The first series more.

Okay. I'm not into Naruto, but I don't necessarily love it that much nor do I hate it that much. I just admire it for how well its managed to become popular and famous as an anime. Rabid fans are usually classified as Narutards, while the anime also attracts a LOT of hate. However, there are some logical fans who aren't rabid and even some people who just move on with another anime. It isn't perfect, but it isn't a bad series. However, both the rabid fans and the rabid haters need to stop. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

It should be the number 1 because it tells the real story of human life not like DBZ in which they beat enemy and after beating him a more strong enemy comes and story repeats over and over again with different effects.

I love Naruto & Naruto Shippuden series the greatest anime character of all time

I love Naruto. It's a long series though.

4 Fairy Tail Fairy Tail is a manga franchise created by Hiro Mashima. The manga has been adapted into an anime series produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight, which began broadcasting in Japan on October 12, 2009. Additionally, A-1 Pictures and Satelight have developed seven original video animations and an animated more.

Fairy Tail is pretty much in the same situation as One Piece, only worse. Fairy Tail has fans who love it for the characters, story, feels, animation, and of course, fights. Then there are those who hate it for ripping off One Piece, fanservice, and its execution. While I do hate Lucy Heartfilia, I honestly would say I am actually neutral with Fairy Tail. I respect the opinions of anyone who loves or doesn't like it, though. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Fairy Tail is one of my favorite animes, I don't mind it's plot armor. - Pegasister12

People either love the imagination, fun characters, etc, or be those haters who complain about fan service, the friendship speech etc. Choose a side.

This is the best example of an anime that people either love or hate. I am indifferent.

5 One Piece One Piece is a manga franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. The manga has been adapted into an original video animation (OVA) produced by Production I.G in 1998, and an anime series produced by Toei Animation, which began broadcasting in Japan in 1999 and has aired 851 episodes to date.

Based on my opinion, I think that one piece is an incredible anime. Simply because of the amazing story plotting, epics battles and most importantly friendship. There are a few scenes where you'll never forget. I remember my first time watching One Piece it gave me goosebumps, I knew it was going to be amazing. I hope you guys really try to finish all of the episodes and don't give up half way but after you started watching I don't think you can even go for toilet breaks, real good anime

There are people who love it for the unique plot, great storytelling, epic dialogue, epic fights, and awesome characters. Then there are people who hate it for the art, animation, and slow pacing. In my personal opinion, I just respect it as an anime series like I do with Naruto. But there's no denying we just have to ignore the overrating and the underrating by these two groups. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Amazing story line

One Piece is an awesome anime but the characters can get a bit weird.

6 Attack on Titan Attack on Titan, also known as Shingeki no Kyojin in Japanese, created by Hajime Isayama, is one of the most popular Japanese anime series to be released. It was first watched in Japan during 2013 and was dubbed in English to be watched in America in 2014. It is best known for its emotional moments, more.

It's almost like the Five Night's At Freddy's of the anime community, though Attack on Titan is in no way near as bad as FNAF. Attack on Titan has a huge fan base, but most of the haters then hate the anime series mostly for how much they think the fan base is cancerous. Like Sword Art Online, fans call it the best anime ever (like I haven't seen that with every anime that comes out every year). And like Sword Art Online, haters say it sucks. Of course, I'm going to say I love Attack on Titan either way. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

It's a great show not showing the Titans private parts and the story is great and teamates die along the way - FerrariDude64

Undeserving of all its hate but sadly true.

I love this anime!

7 Pokemon Pokémon, abbreviated from the Japanese title of Pocket Monsters and currently advertised in English as Pokémon: The Series, is a Japanese anime television series, which has been adapted for the international television markets.

Oh, this is going to be a long one. I know a lot of people on here either love or hate the Pokemon anime. I don't think it's that bad, but unfortunately, this is the only anime on the list that I honestly hate. Anyways, the fans of the Pokemon anime usually tend to keep saying it is the best and bash other kids shows like Digimon and Yu-Gi-Oh!. Now as for the haters, they constantly say Digimon is better and that Pokemon is just for kids, with there being enough hate to have it on the top 10 on Top 10 Worst Anime. Personally, I just don't like the anime, I just love the games. But I respect anyone's opinions if they agree or disagree with me. But Pokemon isn't bad compared to *shudders* Boku no Pico. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Gotta catch 'em all! I love Pokemon and all the people the stories are cool

The games are great but the anime sucks

How is this number 10, it should be in the top 5 at least!

8 Neon Genesis Evangelion Neon Genesis Evangelion, commonly referred to as Evangelion or Eva, is a Japanese animated television series produced by Gainax and Tatsunoko Production, and directed by Hideaki Anno.

I actually used to hate this anime just because I thought Gurren Lagann was better and that Shinji Ikari was a wimp. Not to mention its fan base. However, over time, I managed to mature and finally found that both the fans AND the haters have their faults. The fans get angry at anyone who hates Shinji or Asuka, but then there are haters who simply hate the anime solely because of Shinji and that it's popular. Seriously, Evangelion is plagued by both of those two groups. But I also want to watch it as well. I will probably love it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

The only way I can see people hating this show is it's because it's waay over hyped and they had very high expectations for it. This show was not perfect at all of course and had its major problems in the 90s (they lacked the budget to make the perfection they wanted), but it was one of the greatest.

I love this show. People dislike it because they're too thick to figure it out

I hate this show the characters are more one deminsional than sword art online and the story is boring - sadfag

9 Future Diary Future Diary is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Sakae Esuno. The plot surrounds a battle royale in which each combatant has a diary with entries from the future. The manga was serialized in the Kadokawa Shoten's Shōnen Ace between January 2006 and December 2010.

People hate because of the plot holes but they don't understand that making an anime like this is hard to write - sadfag

I love Mirai Nikki but it is possible I am biased because it was one of the first anime I ever watched... I don't know my opinions are awful

lover - LordLax

You either love or hate this anime.

Personally, I love it, but I know it has plot holes and crazy-ass annoying characters. But I loved the concept of it. It's just difficult to write a plot like this without leaving any gaps.

10 Sonic X Sonic X is a Japanese anime television series created by TMS Entertainment and based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series published by Sega.

The Contenders

11 Kill La Kill Kill la Kill is an anime television series produced by Trigger. In Kill la Kill, Ryuko Matoi transfers to a new high school in order to find her father's murderer.

Either you love this anime for the badass fights, the OST, and the message in it OR you hate it for the crazy scenes and crazy amount of fanservice. Although, I think the message was meaningful and the fights were awesome, along with the amazing OST. The only thing that bothered me a little was the amount of fanservice. I didn't hate KLK for that, though. But well, either you love it or hate it. - zerolamasta

Like. The anime though

I love this one

Kill La Kill was a great series. I personally liked it. What throws people from liking it from what I've seen is it's fan service. I'm aware that's supposed to be a parody of other magical girl shows and has some meaning in Ryuko's story arc, but some of it is unwarranted. (Ragyo sexual assaulting her own child was very uncalled for. Like, seriously? why did they insert that in? )

12 Bleach Bleach is a Japanese anime series based on Tite Kubo's manga of the same name. Bleach adapts the first 54 volumes of Tite Kubo's manga series of the same name. In addition, 4 anime-original arcs were broadcast in-between and during the adaptations of original arcs of the manga. more.

Oh well.. It's the only anime that I watched from start to finish.. Never gave me any boring episodes.. Even the movies are great.. I just love Ichigo and Rukia

You love the earlier episodes, and love all the transitions from the manga, but hate the filler arcs.

Skip the fillers, it's actually a great shounen series. - AnimeSportsFan619

Bleach. Is my favorite. Anime. And lots of action

13 Seven Deadly Sins The Seven Deadly Sins is a Japanese fantasy manga/anime series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki.

One of my friends told me to watch it a while ago so I finally decided to's so good I am already halfway through the series. My favorites are Ban and Meliodas.

Seven Deadly Sins is amazing. I love all of the characters for different reasons. But I must admit I love the dynamic between Ban and Meliodas.

14 Akame Ga Kill Akame ga Kill! (アカメが斬る!, Akame ga Kiru! is a manga published in Gangan Joker authored by Takahiro and Tashiro Tetsuya. It received an anime adaptation that premiered on July 6, 2014 and ended on December 14, 2014.

Let's be fair, Akame ga Kill has a great plot, but killing off the main characters got WAY out of hand. Leone was my favorite! Takahiro, how could you?!? I'm writing a fanfiction to spite you and your decisions! - Sovereign-Robo

I have no problem with the fact that there are Akame Ga Kill haters, because I can expect a lot of them. - SelfDestruct

Don't worry. There are some people on TheTopTens that do like Akame ga Kill!. So you're not alone. I actually did enjoy Akame ga Kill!. It may not have been what I expected it to be, but I still liked it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I love this show but I understand why there are haters. I like that its not afraid to kill fan favorites... But... its REALLY not afraid to kill fan favorites...if you know what I mean.

This show is actually quite good.

15 Death Note Death Note is a Japanese television drama series based on the manga series of the same name by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. The show is centered around Light Yagami - a promising highschooler and aspiring detective with a strong sense of "justice".

I didn't even watch the anime yet and I recommended it to one of my followers already. However, I do acknowledge quite a big disturbance with both the fans and haters. However, I did hear they did die down quite a bit, as the fans talk less rabidly about the shock and suspense of the anime and haters talk less about the ending. Other than that, Death Note doesn't seem bad. Just steer clear of these people. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I've read the whole series 12 times it's so dark addictive interesting and ryuk is my favourite wasn't that impressed with the films but how can you fit 12 books into 2 films and they left out characters read the mangas not the films I love death note it rocks

This show is too emo for me. - Brobusky

16 The Devil is a Part-Timer The Devil Is a Part-Timer is a Japanese light novel series written by Satoshi Wagahara, with illustrations by Oniku.
17 Fullmetal Alchemist Fullmetal Alchemist is an anime series adapted from the manga of the same name by Hiromu Arakawa. It is about two brothers, Edward Elric and Alphonse Elric, trying to restore their bodies after failing at bringing their mother back to life. It aired in 2003 and was remade as Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood more.

If this is about the 2003 series and not Brotherhood than I personally feel as the hate for it is completely because of westernized mentality of the "manga is always better and the anime should always follow the manga." I own all of the manga and watch both the original and brotherhood and there is something people need to know. The manga was still in progress during the time that the first adaptation was made. Eventually, the anime caught up and instead of stopping it, the writer of the manga allowed the anime writers to continue with the series. She basically allowed them to do their own interpretation of her own series, even if it isn't perfect. (I personally like the tone of the 2003 ending over the 'real' ending. It was much more darker and bittersweet, which slightly fits the tone of FMA better. But the manga/brotherhood ending isn't bad either.)

You shouldn't see the 2003 series as bad because it "didn't follow the manga". Just because it didn't ...more

Yes. Fullmetal Alchemist has fans AND haters. It's pretty much the same thing with Attack on Titan. Everything good about an anime is what is loved by fans, and rabid fans is what is hated by haters. That sums up what I pretty much know Fullmetal Alchemist has in terms of who loves it and hates it. But I do wanna watch it though. I might love it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Either you love the non Canon bits, or you hate it because you think Brotherhood is better. - Elric-san

It is great modern sponge Bob sucks and I love it and 2003 series still need to see brotherhood I'm 11

18 Tokyo Ghoul Tokyo Ghoul is a Japanese dark fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Sui Ishida. It was serialized in Shueisha's seinen manga magazine Weekly Young Jump between September 2011 and September 2014, and it has been collected in fourteen tankōbon volumes as of August 2014.

This gets way too much hate. People hate it just because it's not like the manga. (I've read all the manga by the way) So what if it isn't? Fullmetal alchemist isn't like the manga, but it's still amazing. Tokyo ghoul is probably my favourite anime ever. The hate needs to stop!

Oh hell naw! You had the audacity to even TOUCH Tokyo ghoul! Why is this even on the list?! A lot of people like Tokyo ghoul. There is absolutely NO reason to hate on it!

I get what you're trying to say. Unfortunately, there are actually some people on TheTopTens that actually hate Tokyo Ghoul. Top 10 Worst Anime is an example of this. Other than that, Tokyo Ghoul isn't bad in my opinion. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I am actually shocked that no one tried to stand up for Tokyo Ghoul on this list. It's quite popular on TheTopTens, actually! Even though I haven't watched it yet... - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Sorry fanboys and girls, but I honestly hate it

19 Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

I watched an episode or two of this anime, and to be honest, I loved it! The comed was well thought and mature enough for my enjoyment, as well as the characters being hilarious and witty. I also understand if you do not like this anime, for the animation, voices, and plot can get pretty confusing/annoying. I truly recommend this anime for a good laugh.

This is more of a guilty pleasure anime for me.

You can't go into this anime expecting a series anime. if not, it will rub you off. honestly the mix of westernize culture and anime made this anime entertaining. (not the mention the hilarious dub)

20 Sailor Moon Sailor Moon is a Japanese shōjo manga series by Naoko Takeuchi. It was originally serialized in Nakayoshi from 1991 to 1997; the 52 individual chapters were published in 18 tankōbon volumes. more.

Dear visitor who just commented : At least write spoiler alert before the spoiler! You belong in Sailor Moon! - Skullkid755

I did not want kamina to die! It was depressing in a way...

I may have finished the anime, but you do realize you just revealed a major spoiler to everyone! Keep major plot points to yourself! But I did wish Kamina didn't die. That is all I will say. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Nobody hates TTGL

25 High School DxD High School DxD is a Japanese light novel series written by Ichiei Ishibumi and illustrated by Miyama-Zero. The series revolves around Issei Hyoudou, a perverted high school student who is reincarnated into a Devil by Rias Gremory after being killed on his first date. He later joins the Occult Research more.

Considering the intense amount of fanservice contained in this guilty pleasure ecchi harem action anime, it should be no surprise High School DxD will have its lovers and its haters. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Agreed, this is basically the definition of a love or hate anime - kempokid

The ultimate fanservice anime. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

The worst anime I've ever watched bruh it's just harem and ecchi NOTHING ELSE and the plot?...i don't see any

26 Clannad Clannad is the anime adaptation of the visual novel developed by KEY for Windows PCs in 2004, which was later ported to PlayStation consoles and the Xbox 360. The game was the best-selling PC game in 2004 and charted in national top 50 rankings several more times afterwards. Clannad has been adapted more.

Okay, I'm not usually into romance anime, but considering I am now a huge fan of Sword Art Online and I have watched Toradora!, I don't think I would hate Clannad. It doesn't seem so bad. Like Sword Art Online, it isn't the best anime ever, nor is it the worst anime ever. Plus, it wouldn't hurt to watch Clannad. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I want to watch it! I know a lot of people hate it, but hey, if there are people who hate Sword Art Online and I still like Sword Art Online, then if there are people who hate Clannad, screw them, I'm watching Clannad no matter what they think! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I just. Saw parts. Of it.

Didn't like it that much until after story

27 Samurai Champloo Samurai Champloo is a Japanese anime series developed by Manglobe. Samurai Champloo is set in an alternate version of Edo-era Japan with an anachronistic, predominantly hip hop, setting. It follows Mugen, an impudent and freedom-loving vagrant swordsman; Jin, a composed and stoic rōnin; and Fuu, a more.

I'm not a big fan of samurai champloo but I guess it's not that bad...

28 Clannad After Story Clannad is based off a visual novel. It follows the story of a high school senior named Tomoya Okazaki, a delinquent who floats through life caring about very little. He hates the town he lives in and his alcoholic father. more.

It's pretty much in the same situation its predecessor Clannad is in. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

29 One Punch Man One-Punch Man is an ongoing, online, web comic, which was later adapted into a Manga and Anime series . Created by ONE in 2009, It gained popularity, and soon after, went viral in 2012, surpassing 7 . 9 million views . One-Punch Man (OPM for short) focuses on the protagonist Saitama (Who is named after more.

I do have to agree. People either love it for the awesome fights, hilarious comedy, and the badass characters, or people hate it for the overpowered main lead that is Saitama and the perception that the fights are too boring. Oh well, I haven't watched it yet, but I will probably enjoy it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

The animation is gorgeous. I can tell that a lot of effort was put into it. Right amount of gore, not that much fanservice, and no friendship speeches.

Really? I never saw anyone hate one punch man

Overrated much?

30 Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
31 Elfen Lied Elfen Lied is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Lynn Okamoto. It was originally serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump from June 2002 to August 2005, with the 107 chapters collected into twelve tankōbon volumes.

Either you get a grasp and understanding of the show, or you don't, which leads to either you love the show if the former, or you hate it if the latter.

People either see it as a masterpiece or as gory porn. It's gotta be either of those two. Of course, I think I might like Elfen Lied. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Don't recommend for young kids

32 Black Butler Black Butler is a Japanese anime television series produced by A-1 Pictures and premiered in October, 2008.
33 Sword Art Online II Sword Art Online II is the second season of the Sword Art Online anime series, produced by A-1 Pictures and directed by Tomohiko Ito. It is divided into the "Phantom Bullet", "Calibur" and "Mother's Rosario" arcs.
34 The Asterisk War

Not a lot of people seem to like The Asterisk War since they think it's unoriginal, generic, and boring. However, I watched all 12 episodes and I actually enjoyed the anime and found it fun to watch. I know a YouTuber named Digibro hates it, but I don't give a crap about that. I plan to watch Season 2 soon. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

35 Guilty Crown Guilty Crown is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G which aired on Fuji TV's noitamina program block from October 2011. The story revolves around Shu Ouma, a high school boy who inadvertently obtains an ability called "Power of the King" that enables him to draw out items more.

Personally I thought the sound, action and animation (when they decided to) was great. However, many of the characters had little to no redeeming features (total a-holes) (the main character turned into a psychopath in the last few episodes). The writing was sloppy and underdeveloped. But in the end, with all it's flaws Guilty Crown is still my favorite anime. It had something that stopped me from thinking about anything else until I finished it. Anyone else experience the same with Guilty Crown or another Anime?

Yeah, Guilty Crown seems to have quite some mixed popularity over here on TheTopTens. I know my buddy Boris (aka CastlevaniaFanboy128) doesn't like it, but considering my tastes in anime, I might like Guilty Crown. All I need is to know where I can watch it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

36 Dimension W
37 Teen Titans Teen Titans is an American animated television series created by Glen Murakami, based on the DC Comics characters of the same name.

It says AMERICAN in the description

Not an anime.

38 Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Strikers
39 F-Zero: GP Legend
40 Fate/Stay Night Fate/stay night is a Japanese visual novel and anime series by Type-Moon. There are three story lines in the visual novel: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, and Heaven's Feel. A 24-episode anime series based on the Fate route and a film based on the Unlimited Blade Works route were made by Studio Deen. A more.

Damn, I just searched up some Crunchyroll forums and it seems the Unlimited Blade Works anime adaptation is also criticized as well. Whatever, I love any anime that isn't bad. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

I think most people don't like Fate/Stay Night because of the 2006 Studio Deen anime adaptation. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

If you browsed Crunchyroll forums, you would be more aware of the fact that Fate/Stay Night has lovers and haters on its hands. So pretty much, this is Ufotable's Sword Art Online in a way. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

41 Puella Magi Madoka Magica Puella Magi Madoka Magica is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Shaft and Aniplex, directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, written by Gen Urobuchi, music by Yuki Kajiura, opening sang by ClariS, ending by Kalafina (sometimes by the seiyuus) and original characters by Ume Aoki. It also has 3 movies, more.

Why is this even here?

Many people loved the anime for it's animation, production value and emotional moments.
But many others hate it also because of how Madoka became powerful at the end.
It's ok, though - MLPFan

42 Blue Exorcist Blue Exorcist is an anime series directed by Tensai Okamura and produced by A-1 Pictures, which adapts the Blue Exorcist manga written and illustrated by Kazue Kato.

I have not met a single person who said they hated this anime.

43 Digimon “Digimon” is a term commonly used to describe a variety of Japanese anime series based on the Bandai virtual pet brand “Digimon” (Dejimon). As of 2017, there are 7 series: “Digimon Adventure” (1999), “Digimon 02” (a.k.a. “Digimon Adventure 02”) (2000), “Digimon Tamers” (2001), more.

I can't believe I forgot to add this anime series! Yeah, most people hate it because they think it's a ripoff of Pokemon, but in my opinion, I just love the Digimon anime and I just love the Pokemon games. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

44 Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya
45 Yo-kai Watch

The haters of this show are the worst, like with Digimon and Yu-gi-oh, people label it as a rip off even though it's not

It is atrocious but funny.

46 Yuri on Ice Yuri!!! on Ice is a sports anime television series about figure skating. The anime was produced by MAPPA, directed by Sayo Yamamoto and written by Mitsurō Kubo.
47 Science Ninja Team Gatchaman
48 Space Dandy

This is the only anime I have seen in the last 10 years that's considered new. It was great and well thought out to the point I was shocked it didn't have more fans.

But then I see what's popular these days snd realize people don't like mature storylines- that the new generation leans towards fantasy/monotone plot and bubbly or grim characters.

Oh, well. This brought memories back from my anime fiend teen days.

I love this show so much. People don't like it because they don't understand the unique art and color along with the different comedy and story telling.

49 Parasyte The anime was simulcast by Crunchyroll outside of Asia. Aside from the manga and anime, the series also has two live-action film adaptations. The Chinese Ministry of Culture blacklisted Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu as well as 37 other works on June 9, 2015. more.

Most people who hate it seem to only hate it for the ending to the anime or for the final arc not being as good as the first ones. Still, Parasyte was just an enjoyable masterpiece in my opinion! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

The reason people hate is because they say it is a tokyo ghoul rip off but it is not the manga series was made in the late 80s - sadfag

Why would people hate this series.

This anime is actually quite interesting.

50 Boku No Pico Boku no Pico is an anime series of three OVA episodes created by Katsuhiko Takayama. It was released to DVD on September 17, 2006.

Pretty sure nobody likes this anime...

This is child porn! Just because it's anime doesn't mean it's innocent

You either love this anime or hate, just check it on MAL. It's got only 10's or 0's, nothing else.

This joke has already been used to the point of annoyance since my friend CastlevaniaFanboy128's Top 10 Anime For People Who Don't Like Anime. Everybody should hate this anime! No exceptions! - ModernSpongeBobSucks
