Top 10 Anime Series That People Either Love or Hate

The Contenders: Page 3

41 Parasyte Parasyte

Most people who hate it seem to only hate it for the ending to the anime or for the final arc not being as good as the first ones. Still, Parasyte was just an enjoyable masterpiece in my opinion! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

The reason people hate is because they say it is a tokyo ghoul rip off but it is not the manga series was made in the late 80s - sadfag

Why would people hate this series.

This anime is actually quite interesting.

42 Danmachi Danmachi

43 Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, known in Japan as Hoshi no Kirby, is a Japanese anime series created by Warpstar, Inc.

As a Kirby fan, King Dedede's english voice is the only good thing about it

This is hardly anime because this is trash

44 Soul Eater Soul Eater Soul Eater is an anime series directed by Takuya Igarashi and produced by Bones, Aniplex, Dentsu, Media Factory, and TV Tokyo, which adapts the Soul Eater manga written and illustrated by Atsushi Ohkubo.

The only practical reasons why I think some people might hate Soul Eater is because of its ending, fan service, or that it might be too cheesy for their tastes. Regardless of those things, I still think Soul Eater is one of the greatest anime of all time. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

This series has an interesting plot and the characters are flawed and loveable. It also has a wonderful twist on objectification, whereas the certain characters, or 'weapons' as they are used in the series, have a meaningful use for the weapon handlers, such as defeating monsters and collecting souls. I honestly really like this anime.

45 F-Zero: GP Legend F-Zero: GP Legend
46 G.I. Joe: Sigma 6 G.I. Joe: Sigma 6
47 Free! Free! Free! is a Japanese anime television series directed by Hiroko Utsumi and produced by Kyoto Animation and Animation Do.

No offense, but I show absolutely NO interest in watching this anime. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

Sexiest thing ever and the plot is nice. Recommended for females who liek muscles

48 Romeo x Juliet Romeo x Juliet Romeo × Juliet is an anime TV series, loosely based on William Shakespeare's classical play, Romeo and Juliet, along with numerous references and characters from other Shakespearean plays.

Literally made me cry and I knew how it was going to end! Classic with an amazing twist. When teachers in English class tell you people in the audience were crying in Shakespeare's last scene, I was like why? it literally tells you in the first act that the two lovers are going to die! However, I felt that way watching this anime. I've watched good anime, and of the ones I've seen, this is absolutely the best, but is still a little underappreciated.

49 Tokyo Mew Mew Tokyo Mew Mew
50 God Eater God Eater God Eater is an anime adaptation of the God Eater video game series. It is animated by Ufotable and began airing on July 12, 2015 after a one-week delay.

Apparently, this is an anime adaptation of a PSP game with the same name. Some of the watchers may be God Eater fans and even they might hate the anime. I am not sure about the percentage of God Eater anime fans and haters, but I guess there is an even amount. - SelfDestruct

51 The Irregular At Magic High School The Irregular At Magic High School
52 Deadman Wonderland Deadman Wonderland
53 No Game No Life No Game No Life
54 Fruits Basket Fruits Basket
55 Black Butler Black Butler
56 Toradora! Toradora! Toradora! is a series of Japanese light novels written by Yuyuko Takemiya, with illustrations by Yasu. It received an anime adaptation directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai and produced by J.C.Staff that ran from 2008-2009.

There might be some things you love and hate about Toradora!, but overall, it's still a great anime in my opinion. Taiga Aisaka is the best! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

57 InuYasha InuYasha InuYasha is a manga franchise created by Rumiko Takahashi. It was adapted into two anime television series produced by Sunrise. The first was broadcast for 167 episodes on Yomiuri TV in Japan from October 16, 2000 until September 13, 2004. The second series, called Inuyasha: The Final Act, began airing more.

*Face palm* Dang, how could I forget to put this on the list?! I know a lot of people think this anime is too girly, but InuYasha is actually a good anime in my opinion! I still need to watch it, though! - ModernSpongeBobSucks

58 Dragon Ball Dragon Ball Dragon Ball is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. It made anime popular in America and is based on the manga of the same name by Akira Toriyama. It was dubbed in English on Cartoon Networks Toonami block and still has many fans today.

Mostly because people think the original Dragon Ball is either superior or inferior to the more-popular Dragon Ball Z anime series. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

59 Yu Yu Hakusho Yu Yu Hakusho Yu Yu Hakusho is a manga franchise created by Yoshihiro Togashi. An anime adaptation consisting of 112 television episodes was directed by Noriyuki Abe and co-produced by Fuji Television, Yomiko Advertising, and Studio Pierrot. The television series originally aired on Japan's Fuji TV network from October more.

To be honest, I'm only adding this here just so I can add an image to Yu Yu Hakusho. But I do think there might be Yu Yu Hakusho haters though. Probably because they think Dragon Ball Z is better. - ModernSpongeBobSucks

60 Guilty Crown Guilty Crown Guilty Crown is a 2011 Japanese anime television series produced by Production I.G which aired on Fuji TV's noitamina program block from October 2011. The story revolves around Shu Ouma, a high school boy who inadvertently obtains an ability called "Power of the King" that enables him to draw out items more.

Yeah, Guilty Crown seems to have quite some mixed popularity over here on TheTopTens. I know my buddy Boris (aka CastlevaniaFanboy128) doesn't like it, but considering my tastes in anime, I might like Guilty Crown. All I need is to know where I can watch it. - ModernSpongeBobSucks
